If it is, ive given you every chance to take this bet. Ive quoted $26 for us to win the comp to which you spoke a big game about taking for $1000…. to which you now claim you cant due to location, which is a shame. If this was directed at me please specify how you are able to make this bet happen. For the $25,000 profit you are believing you will get for your $1000, a flight to an from Sydney for $100 each way and about 6 hours of your time id say is well worth it. Im certain you get a day off here or there or can arrange to have someone else look after the person you look after for a day. If i thought $25,000 was certain, as you clearly do, id be on a plane within minutes.

$2.50 to make the 8
$6.00 to make the 4
$26.00 to win the comp

I agrre with you their FHG, that are the right odds .

I got $26 in November, and I would have put on a fair amount if I could have got $2.50 to makethe 8…but $1.85 is the best I have seen them at., and they are still that

Prince had a good 04 but not world class.
Marshall hadn't been able to string a season together yet and the same goes for Farah.
These players became world class after 05 not going into 05.

I too would wait, I think we'll have a bit of a tough start to the year, the odds will lenghten if we do…weve a good run home though.
The critical time is between the byes imo.

That's true, but I was saying that at the moment we shouldn't say the team this year is as good or better than the team at the end of 2005\. There is no way we can say yet that the players in those important positions will play like world class players. We don't even know who will play fullback or halfback yet so it's way to early to say that the team this year is better or as good than our 2005 team.

I doubt you would get $2.50 anywhere for Wests Tigers to make the top 8\. At this stage most people think Wests are about a 50/50 chance to make the top 8 which means you will probably get a bit less than $2 to make the finals. Probably around $1.80

I like the $13 being offered for Newcastle getting the spoon - i think the only other challenger is NZ.
Sharks will inprove with their new signings, Canberra always go better than expected because of their home advantage in winter. NQld are not serious contenders even though the TAB are keeping them safe for the spoon.
