2010 team

im questioning lotes speed these days as its no where near what it used to be..and im not sure how safe he is as a last line of defense either

I agree that's why I think they'll try him on the wing first. I personally would like to see him in the centres him and TNT could make an unstoppable combo. But like I said if he comes good I think they'll definately put him in fullback cause that's where he wants to play.

id rather him on the wing with ayshford at centre or the other way around. just to giv him some leadership on his side

Lote will be a waste of money IMO…Good for the Tigers Marketing, just like Dell was for St George....but as a player I think we'll see he is past his best!

Friday was tests on fitness, The 2 fittest at the club at the moment are Beau Ryan and Rhys Pritchard..

No surprise there, Ryan has been the king of the beep test at the Tigers for the last couple of years.

Dont count on GOWER, he wasn't at training friday, and rumour has it he's off to manly..

I can't believe this. i know that there was a rumour weeks ago about this but if we have not retained him we are nuts. We sign Daniella and Brown but release a class act in Gower ?? :unamused:

Nice one Fonz, any other Classy players you want to get rid of Fonzie ??

What positions can Mark Flanagan, Justin Moors, Liam Fulton and sum1 else (from Super League who used to play with us and is now back with Liam Fulton) can play??

Flanagan is best described as a utility. Second row, lock, hooker and 5/8 are all positions he has apparently played. Moors is a big unit and will probably slot into the front row or second row, I'd like to see him used as a wide running second rower but time will tell. Fulton is a specialist lock but can also play 5/8\. Personally I think he's a bit too slow for 5/8 but he has decent ball skills and is a good defender. The doughnut king Daniel Fitzhenry is the other player I assume you are referring to. A decent enough winger on his day Fitzy's best days are probably behind him IMO. He'll add depth if injuries hit the side out wide but I imagine he'll turn out for Wests or BRET to start the season.

whats the bet this is our team for round 1 next year. 1 moltzen 2 fitzhenry 3 ayshford 4 lawrence 5 ryan 6 taumata 7 marshall 8 gibbs 9 farah 10 galloway 11 ellis 12 heighington 13 payten 14 fulton 15 cayless 16 galea 17 shirnack.sheens will put marshall back to halfback, you can take that to the bank.

Benji will never see the No. 7 at WT again…

He carved up at second receiver when put in the 6 late last year.

The question is Moltzen or Taumata at 7!

according to west tigers official website ,as of 10/11 09,benji marshall is listed as a halfback.
