Is this 3 years now we have started our season on a monday night?

Yes you a right Tiger Watto. We played the Raiders in 09, Manly in 10 and the Bulldogs in 11.

the only positive i can draw from this is we are 2 from 2 so far

Looking at the 6 month Cityrail timetable of trackwork yesterday. I noticed on the weekend of Round 1 (12-13 March), there is trackwork between Strathfield and Parramatta/Merrylands. It shows that Buses will replace trains on Olympic Park Line. So it may be actually be a smart move by the bulldogs to have it on Monday Night instead of Saturday or Sunday.

Hopefully, we can make it 3 from 3 in 2011, then. :sign:

Suncorp usually has a double header i go to around june/july which see about 50k turn up, it be good if they decide to do it round 19 brisbane v gold coast then North Queensland v Tigers. That would be a great money maker for the both queenslanders and a chance for me to see my tigers . Can only hope…

**Bulldogs v Wests Tigers ANZ Stadium Monday 7.00pm Fox**
**Wests Tigers v Warriors Leichhardt Oval Saturday 7.30pm Fox**
**Wests Tigers v Raiders Campbelltown Sports Stadium Monday 7.00pm Fox**
**Roosters v Wests Tigers SFS Sunday 3.00pm Nine**
**Wests Tigers v Rabbitohs SFS Friday 7.30pm Nine**

Short turn around between 3rd round against the raiders and Friday against the Rorters. 4 days

They beat us 4 time last year and eager for some revenge..

Why, why, why must we always play the first round on a Monday night. I can only assume the club has requested this as it can't be a coincidence.

Why you would request it I have no idea.

Choice is Foxtels.

Ch9 gets first two choices of games for Friday and Fox' 1st choice is the Monday night game.

Im dirty on it but there better be some equality amongs all clubs.

Anyone got some stats of MNF over 2009 / 2010

**The Roosters game isn't until Sunday. The league doesn't allow them to schedule you a Monday game followed by a Friday game.**

Only real back to back away games will be rounds 18 and 19 >> Eels then Cows.

We need a timer on the website to kick of of next game.

Without reading through all posts can anyone tell me when Tigers V Warriors is between 18-21 March? I'd like to fly down from the Gold Coast.

Also is Leichardt within train walking distance? Any knowledgeable train travellers advice would be much appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Ok I just found it's 7.30pm Sat night cheers.

Can anyone advise is train a viable transport option? If so what station/s, to and from airport, regards!

Train isn't really viable to Leichardt. Bus would be the preferred public transport option.

Bus from Wynyard train station to Leichardt should get you close, from memory there is one that stops at the top of the road from the ground (Mary st from memory)

Looking at Sydney buses website should be the 440 bus from Wynyard.

If you are coming from the airport, get off at Central Station and get either:

- the 440 bus from the Broadway bus terminal on George St. The bus takes you to the top of Mary St, about 200 metres from the ground. You'll know when to get off as it will be full of Tigers supporters who all alight at that stop. Getting on a 440 back to the city after a game can be a bit of a nightmare though. it's taken me anywhere from 10-45 minutes to get a bus. They usually put on extra buses, but not always.

- get the light rail from Central to Lilyfield. A longer walk but you get to stop off at the Orange Grove Hotel on the way and have a beer. Full of Tigers fans. http://www.metrotransport.com.au/index.php/home-2

Does anyone know when the next lot of game days will be annouced ? as i'll be on the goldcoast on the 15th and 16th of april
