That's true Suze, I did see a fair few Pink jerseys on the day too.
These pictures do not provide an accurate sample and they may be bias towards more traditional fans who sit on the hill (dunno???).
However, even this the simple count does show a striking trend that demonstrates that, contrary to this "new identity" stuff that Concord is sprouting, clearly people love to embrace our heritage.

Yup me too, a lot of the new orange and white and a fair few pink as well.

And yes the photos do not represent the best selection of the crowd either, I would love to see photos that show that entire side of the ground including the seating to see if the numbers of new jerseys increase.

This photos are proof of my argument on the other jersey thread the NO ONE is buying the 2011 jerseys !!!!!!

Do the jersey count dudes !! They just aren't there !!!

How many people are pictured in these photos? 2000-3000, at most, out of over 20000, is not proof of anything.

i am in one of my photos, wearing my predominately black jersey from last year (next my mate in a QLD jersey)
I have a theory on sales numbers, I have a heritage jersey balmain black V, from about 2005, but im unlikely to buy another one in the foreseeable future , I buy a WT jersey every 2 or 3 years, so altho im not wearing the current WT jersey, im more more likely to buy the current one than the heritage jersey, however at the game im 50-50 to be wearing a heritage jersey as a WT jersey from one of the last couple years, if you look closely, there is loads of people in one last years, or the previous years jerseys.

So the look of the crowd is not necessary the best guide to sales. I think that with the sale of jerseys, it is fair enough for the club and providers to take a commercial view of it

true

I generally buy a new jersey every couple of years, including the 2010 Balmain Heritage jersey
But i only ever wear my 1998 Balmain bumbee jersey which is almost identical to the 2010 Balmain Heritage design.

odd. We fans really are weird bunch

but again, have a look at who is wearing the Victa and Phillips jerseys. It's not the _stuck-in-the-past_ old timers, it's teenagers and people in their twenties. Explain that.

How much are you willing to pay?

Here is one for $795, all you need to do is break it out of its casing.

they should just have all of the 2011 jerseys available for sale. if the heritage jerseys arent selling as quickly then dont make quite as many of those jerseys, but to not make any of the heritage jerseys at all is just stupid!

Not sure you understand the situation fully. In order to have any made, they will need to order a certain quota from the supplier (in this case KOS Sports). If they aren't going to sell the minimum order (which is a fairly good reading into the reply from the KOS Sports people) then the decision to release them is a very good one in a business sense. And no matter what supporters on here think, merchandise is the business of the sport, so I will applaud any smart business decision made by the club, of which I believe this is one.

what is the min. order???

My side have ordered 20 Jerseys from XBlades for our team and they make them and ship them out quick smart.

Fully sponsored and in assorted sizes.

I believe there is more to this.

I am gonna make an enquiry with the manufacturers to see if they can knock up some extras. If they can I will organise for forum members to place an order in thru me.

They may not do this but we can only try.

Speaking of smart business decisions, WTs merchandise should have been released a lot earlier than it was this year.

u made it

The magpies jersey, black with white vs with the sponsor 'Masterton' on it from 1989 was similar to the jersey with 'VICTA' sponsor on it. From memory a reverse jersey was made of these two styles ie white with black vs. Does anyone know whether it is possible to buy one of these nowadays (no luck on ebay) or is there a company that makes special jersey orders?
