2012-2013 Football (Sokkah) Thread

Going to go out on a limb and say if West Ham lose tonight they will get relegated

Talk that Ravel Morrison will be lost to Newcastle as well

Lewandowski 's signed for 5 years on a free.

Great business, can't wait to see this line up

–-----------Bob
Ribery---Gotze---Robben
----------Kroos--Schweini
Alaba--Dante-Boateng-Lahm
------------Neuer

Its official West Ham have hit an all time low getting beaten 5-0 by Nottingham Forest in the FA Cup

Think it could be time for Big Sam to start looking for a new job

No we hadn't quite hit an all time low

Beaten 6-0 by Man City in a CCup semi final first leg

Allardyce has to go now , injuries aside this isn't acceptable

In the league where it all counts, they just climbed out of the relegation zone by beating Cardiff 2-0.

We are getting a few back from injuries at long last

Carroll came off the bench and set up the second goal

Tomkins also back but will have a three week break after being sent off

Vaz Te played for the development squad also

Good win away with 10 players for a long while

Big loss was Demel , looked a bad injury last night

That's the strange thing with West Ham , we have had 9 clean sheets this season and we are second in the EPL in that stat

Problem is now we are missing three key defenders in Collins, Winston Reid and now Demel

We might have to look at picking up a defender and another striker in the January trade period

If we can manage 5 wins and 5 draws from our next 17 games we should stay up 😛ray:

The Hammers remind me so much of the Tigers , everyone is always injured  .

Bad news for the Socceroos

Robbie Kruse has done his ACL and will more than likely miss the World Cup

Big loss for the Aussies

Any news on Bresciano being available , haven't heard how his appeal went ??

Bresh has been cleared to play Happy. No Kruse is a pretty big blow to our already slim chances of progressing.

Probably opens up a start for Tommy Oar which isn't a bad thing

Kruse will be a big loss for the Socceroos. He is one of the most fouled players in the world and could have given us some strike power in what was already a tough World Cup.

Bresciano being cleared to play is good news. He's the only golden oldie that deserves to go to the World Cup.

Rogic at the Victory is good news for Australia. He'll get some matches and should be on the plane to South Africa.

Man City buying Melbourne Heart should be good news for the club. They'll change their name to Melbourne City FC soon enough. Hopefully they'll have a clearer identity now. The club really needed a kick start. A

Besart Berisha to Vistory to be coached by Kevin Muscat.
That is a whole lot of crazy in one dressing shed.

That's a good buy for the Victory. They lack a true striker with all their attacking midfielders. More reason to be anti-Victory now.

Big call by Roar to say that Broich is a better player than Berisha

I think it's the right call too. Berisha is a quality striker and target man. But he also gets sent off fairly regularly and leaves his team a man down.
Broich is the best player in the league in my opinion. He's pure quality. Great first touch, vision and work rate. The consummate professional.

x 2 … broich is an exceptional player in the a-league. as a teenager in germany he was considered to be a really exceptional talent and i am fairly certain repped germany as a youth player before he was signed up by a bundesliga side at an early age but for a variety of reasons faded out and away from top flight soccer in germany.

I echo your opinion. He's the first player if target in the a-league, regardless of age.
