2012

I reckon if a club did sign Quade Cooper he would make a decent full back . But not the Tigers Just Blair and Ben Pomeroy and a goal kicker would be fine thanks As long as Wade is over hamstring issues but am starting to doubt Might be like Nathan Buckley in AFL where he was doing his hammies almost at will

Joseph Tomane and Daniel Conn

As I said in another thread, I believe Daniel Conn would be a decent pick up for any team needing a second rower.

There was a Roosters game a few weeks back, where Daniel Conn made the team and Jason Ryles didn't & I noticed a dramatic drop in the penalties they made.

@CulturedBogan, Fair enough.
I didn't chose Todd Payten either.
2012, making way for the young guns to step up and take their places.

Ellis, Heinington, Galloway & Gibbs to take the leadership roles with their experience,
With the addition of (possible) Adam Blair and Fifita & Dwyer having picked up some serious game time over the previous 2 years, to make a stamp on the game and show that they'll be the future of the pack.

With Murdoch-Masila to become a regular 1st grade player for WT

Thats just what I would do, CB/Etc.
How I feel, obvious we all have different opinions.

You guys saying we should get Karmichael Hunt are kidding yourselves. He's getting paid squillions by the AFL so why would he come and play for the Tigers for probably half of what the Suns are giving him? Do you really think he's going to quit the AFL after one year? How much of a loser would he look like if he does that?

Its just a matter of time for Hunt really..he has to trade off being paid $1mill pa & being a nobody underperformer in AFL vs say $450pa in doing what he loves & is good at.
It wont be year one(2011),but sometime next year u cld envisage him being offered a payout from the Suns to punt him,his PR deed having been done.
Will probably stay in SE Qld though

I dont think he does love Rugby league, I just think he is good at it…. in the early days in an interview when asked about something in a game, he said he didn't know, he didn't watch footy, and wasn't really a fan, said he preferred basketball and rugby.

So i reckon cash will talk and he'll stay with the suns, and I reckon by the end of his contract he'll be a good player. Athletes are athletes, you can teach a bloke to kick and pass, you cant teach what blokes like Harmichael, Isreal and SBW do, that is why they get signed for the big bucks

A fast,goal kicking winger.

Only one i can think of is john williams, but he seems to not stay anywhere too long.

Denan Kemp?

I'm pretty sure he kick goals.

he's gone to rugby union. Although not signed with a super club yet. If we were interested I reckon he'd jump back

If you want a goal kicking winger than its pretty much either Wes Nequama or Bryson Goodwin.

Karmichael Hunts next stop after GCS will be a super 15 franchise and he will most probably have a crack at a Wallabies guernsey.

John Williams from the sharks? very reliable under the high ball, big and strong and can goals from anywhere

matt utai has been a very pleasant success. If he maintains his hunger,he'll be around for a while. And of course Lote would have the other wing spot parcelled up.However, neither of these chaps have age on their side.

If you were a young up and coming winger, anywhere, wouldn't you love to be playing outside Benji.
Beau may be on the downslide,so let the management cast their net.

Have you seen the quality kids we have in the lower ranks like Finau & Tagive???

I cannot see us hunting a big-name winger!!
