2013 jersey?

Seriously we need to get away from fangs, claw marks and tiger stripes…its very pass'e and to be blunt - cheap

What do you suggest as an alternative? Tie die perhaps?

A bloke on FB sums it up perfectly for me… "Finaly a jersey the is NOT Western Suburbs, NOT Balmain, but a jersey that is Wests Tigers"

I just think it has a clean, friendly appeal…

When you think about the great sporting jerseys around the globe, they are very plain and simple, and are recognised by many!

Most footy jumpers in League are very manly, robust & bold... This sits well with the history of tribalism, but moving forward, a clean jumper makes a better statement to a larger audience.

It might be just me, but I see orange, black and white, which would mean that our jersey colours should be…....

Saw the designs for the 2013 heritage jerseys today.

The Balmain one is based on the 1963-1999 V design so it will look like this:


The Western Suburbs one is for the 1963 Grand Final celebrations so looks basically like this:


They will be on sale sometime around March.

Well I guess celebration was probably not the best word, more commemoration, especially seen it was the scene of probably one of the most iconic moments of the games history.

Oh and I should add (even not jersey related), I also saw the design for the Varsity jacket, which looks quite nice, as well as being told that there would be a new StormTech jacket, but this time in charcoal instead of white.

Ive noticed a lack of photos of the back of the new one….theres also no photos of next years main...Im guessing sponsorships or lack of are the reason
