Your predictions?

14\. Blair
15\. Taupau
16\. Patterson
17\. Gavet

Obvs my starting props are Woods & Galloway,
With Sirro and BMM in the second row and Fults ( Halatau ) at Lock.

I'd like to see big Ava on the bench, think he deserves it, never takes a backward step. Also hope Blair puts on another 5kg & plays more of an impact role.

12\. BMM
13\. Sue

14\. Moses or Patterson
15\. Ava
16\. Halatau
17\. Taupau

1\. J. Tedesco
2\. P. Richards
3\. D. Nofo/ C. Lawrence
4\. T. Simona
5\. M. Koribete/ D. Nofo
6\. C. Sironen or B. Austin

14\. A. Blair
15\. Ava
16\. J. Seu
17\. D. Halatau
18\. M. Tapau
19\. J. Gavet
20\. B. Anasta
I'd like to start with this I'm hoping Blake Austin can be a surprise packet at 5/8 and Siro can go in the pack. If we stay injury free we have some depth. Moses to get blooded in the origin period for a permanent start in 2015.

3\. Chris Lawrence
4\. Tim Simona
5\. Pat Richards
6\. Braith Anasta
7\. Luke Brooks
8\. Aaron Woods
9\. Robbie Farah
10\. Keith Galloway
11\. Liam Fulton
12 Curtis Sironen ( why are people whining about his defence of course it not going to be great he has played 5/8 all year. In the pre-season he will gain 3-5 kgs and work on his defence and be a wrecking ball)
13\. Ben Murdoch-Masila ( He played really well at lock yesterday)
14\. Adam Blair
15\. Ava Seumanufagai
16\. Jack Buchanan
17\. Dene Halatau
And if the injuries hit ( Which they will) we have alot of depth all around the park. .

BACKS- Tim Moltzen,Marika Koroibete,Lote Tuqiri,Keith Lulia,Matt Utai,Sean Meaney,Rory Brien,Jy Hitchcox,Taqele
Naiyaravoro,Manaia Rudolph,Mitchell Moses,Matt Mulcahy,Kurtis Rowe, Jack Madden

I fail to see space for Lawrence or Moltz in the top side next year.

You cannot drop Koro, Nofo or Simona and Richards should be our goal kicker.

Would like to see after another off season if Big T could take a impact bench slot.

But were do we put Koro if Nofo and Richards are on the wings Koro isn't a centre and pattys best postion is wing.

Nofo is a better centre then winger IMHO

I have been saying that for a while now, he lacks speed. I believe Simona and Nofo should be playing inside of Richards and Koroibete.

I dont have Galloway in my 17 if Kapow or Gavet can fire for us, and I dont see them both failing….

Tapau has never really taken advantage of his chances at the Dogs and has not impressed me. Gavet, I wouldn't have him over a Galloway that is making an easy 100+ meters every game after just coming back from injury. Blair on the other hand I dislike and should be shown the door.

Sauces metres are made in most by returning kick offs… 5 runs from deep in goal out to the 10m line is 100m or best part there of, and Galloway eats up those returns alot. Stats dont tell the whole story, I would have Ava's metres and how they are made over how Keithy goes about making his, anyday of the week. Every prop can run a kick off out, Sauce just seems to be the pig of choice for us most often.

Tapau was going ok at the start of the yr when called up otherwise got minimal minutes, he is stuck behind a log jam of props, and most Doggies fans are spewing he is leaving... Gavet is an unknown really...

Galloway isnt a special prop, he is the definition of a bog stock base performing prop, nothing more nothing less. On the other hand, Blair isnt perfect, but once we get a team together that is somewhat cohesive and functional, players like Blair with those one percenters, charging down kicks, good wrestle, quick play the balls, they are the little things that can unlock a game between two evenly matched and competent football sides.

Agree with most of that…interesting thread...hopefully we can recruit decent medical and strength/cond. staff and suddenly we have depth

Dunno how accurate this is….but these returns are the toughest, the first in a set with a straight line rushing at you that usually knows there s no offload or pass about to occur...kudos to him

i'd start with paterson, sue and bmm

i'd have blair at prop over galloway atm. galloway from the bench will make him run harder as i've seen that a couple of times he's started off the bench with us.

ava is a must.
fulton im not sure about.. he hasn't kept up his mid season form. he's struggling but i think he's played MOST games this year. would be inclined to start him off the bench.
sirro as yesterday proved struggled in defense- bench for him imo.

gavet/tapau/buchanan/brown- next in line depending on who impresses the most in preseason/state cup

halatau/groat/bell/austin- next in line for the 2nd row.

we have amazing depth in the forwards. everyone's fighting for a spot- and apart from woods and farah, no one's guaranteed a starting spot IMO.

15.Tapau
16.Blair
17.Halatau
18.Patterson
19.Buchanan
Fulton must be there. Souths ran straight through us once he went off last night, who else is going to supply the glue for our ruck defence?

I tend to agree Ink. Galloway does a lot of the dirty hit-ups when the last thing the team needs is a forward that gets dominated by the defence, and I think he knows how to avoid this. Nothing worse than a prop that gets pushed backwards when the team is already on the back foot and trying to come out of its own territory.
