2014 Wests Tigers Draw

**I'll be sitting in bay 131 with my reciprocal tickets**…I like it...we have a great chance to get the season off with a win with our Away/Home game :sign:

Doubt it. The reciprocal tickets seats will not be the same as the regular ticketed seats as the home teams supporters will be in those seats.

The best we can hope for is the same position seats but on the opposite side of the ground.

But with that being said, up to 16 games for the price of 12 is a pretty good deal how ever you look at it.

Without daylight savings that's a 1pm kickoff Sydney time. That's ridiculous to make players in the heat at that time

Well no it would be 3pm in Sydney with Daylight Savings and still at 2pm without it.

Yeah, I took it to be 2pm QLD time, ie 3pm NSW time

Maybe I'm wrong but I remember the Titans playing a game in the same timeslot and people blowing up re: the early kickoff. I could be wrong

Possibly the blow-up was at their end if they need to fit in to NSW timeslots (i.e. a 5:30 TV game in NSW becomes a 4:30 start there and a 2pm Sunday game is 1pm local time in Qld). The draw suggests the game is at 2pm Qld time though.

i would have thought they are just general admission tickets… they _are_ free.

I quite like the draw. Sunday arvo games at home is a boost. Not real impressed about the sides we play twice though. Thats a pretty hard draw. I guess we'll see what these young fellas are made of and if second year syndrome affects any of them.

Looking forward to all games in round one to be honest. There are some cracking matchups. NRL may set a new record for match attendences over that weekend.

Though cost wise a GA system would make sense, I am leaning towards a like for like ticketing system. It is a bit unfair for those who pay for Gold seats to receive the same ticketing level as those who pay for Bronze seats, but I won't complain either way.

Out of last years top 8 we play 6 teams twice

Good

Most top eights from one year generally change by 2, 3 or 4 different teams to the next year

The reciprocal tix are free as phyre mentioned so it makes no difference if you purchase a top line gold membership or a GA

No game in Melbourne next season? Shame.

Im pretty sure Manly,Souths and the Roosters will make the 8,Thats six games we could potentially lose all of them.

Yes im sure the team that came 15th with a bullet
has the 1,2 and 3rd placed teams penned in their diary for an easy win…twice each.

One of the things I've never understood about the draw is how close some of the games are against the teams we play twice. We play the Titans in round 2 then again in round 8\. To me it just doesn't make much sense playing the same team twice in 6 weeks.

It seems to happen to a few teams
Parra
Cowboys - Rd's 8 & 13 - twice in 6 weeks
Roosters - Rd's 2 & 6 - twice in 5 weeks
Raiders - Rd's 22 & 26 - twice in 5 Weeks.

Knights
Knights vs Raiders Rd 2 & Rd 6

we officially have the hardest draw. although that could change as the 2014 ladder will be different from 2013 (obviously)

5th hardest last year.

if they want an even comp, shouldn't they give easy draws to bottom teams every year? leads to less blow outs, and more competitive matches (roosters vs bunnies, storm vs knights, etc.)

For the last 2 years, our final win of the season has been against the Dragons. We play them in Round 1 and 20 in 2014\. Any chance of this run continuing?

I for one am happy we have the hardest draw if it really is. I would like nothing better than to say at the end of the season well done Wests Tigers in a rebuilding year to make the eight!

people aren't gonna pay attention to how hard our draw is sheer, they will just look at our position and that's it.
