2015 As Good As Over Really

Season far from over…

You know how it rolls here Geo, these threads always surface after a coupleof losses. I spose most of them are justified but I refuse to get caught up in the emotional backlash after a loss.

Willow I know what your saying, however you like myself and others must feel slightly dejected after yesterday's performance…..

If yesterdays performance by the team didn't get to you then you are not a WT supporter….The effort put in by the boys for the last 60 minutes cannot be sugar coated....it was appalling....and it irks me to hear Patty say in the press conference that the boys will learn from yesterday....how many times do the boys need to have a lesson before they really learn and put into practice what they learnt!??

They did the exact same thing against the Dogs only a few weeks back...JT really needs to flog the boys at training this week....and give them some Omega 3's for brain power...either they dont know how to learn or they are just plain dumb!

I don't like the perception it is creating for other teams. Now we have shown the bulldogs game wasn't a freak come from behind but in fact a failure by tigers to close the game out after a strong start, it gives other teams determination through the whole game that they can come from behind.

I had to go pick up my son when the game was at 22-0 and all I was thinking , don't throw this game away.

Season isn't over yet, hopefully the sorry display is a wake up.

Way to early to be making those calls. We win next week, we are in the 8.

I think that Steve's comment was spot on.

25 minutes we were white hot, I was very excited. Mentally put the cue in the rack which was very disappointing.

We have been a chance in every game. We have been robbed a couple of times. We have mixed it with the two grand finalists.
It's darkest before the dawn.

Its far from over. That 25 minutes showed how good we can be. The rest of the game showed how much improvement is required.

Well said. Clocked off after 25 minutes.

We need to learn to play for 80 minutes

Still think subbing our best forwards together just before HT is madness We need to find a way to keep either 2 of these four on the field at one time

Woods ,Keefy ,Taupau and Lodge with Sue in the backrow

Geez people are pessimistic. Let's take a look at the season so far as a whole:

Won 2 games with solid performance
Won 1 game in close call
Lost 2 games that we performed well but just didn't get there
Lost 2 games that we should have won but didn't because we didn't play for 80

Saying that our season is over is stupid. We can learn from these losses. Don't give up.

No way is our season over… When we win 5 in a row everyone will call us premiership favorite's.

Only 4 points seperate number 1 to number 15\. If we are committed as a team we can still be in the top 8.

Great to see Manly well on the bottom and internal fighting.

Brings a great smile to an ex Magpie supporter who still remember them stealing Les Boyd, Ray Brown, Joe Cool and John Ribot to name a few.;

The problem with continually using that rhetoric of learning from their mistakes is that the players are obviously dumb or just slow bloody learners…!
