I am keen to see what you guys think about next season… i have a funny feeling you guys will be a lot like we were in 2010 and have a new jump in your step with JT taking over...i think you guys may just sneak into the 8..

as for Roosters... Premiers of course :stuck_out_tongue:

when you won the Minor Premiership your prediction was a Roosters Grand Final win and i told you Souffs Premiers , you were doing cart wheels when Roosters beat us at Leichardt , i said come and visit during the Semis but i knew so well you wouldn't , You must of been feeling Bad on how they treated the Cowboys when you played them in the Semi's

im not the kind of guy to go an hide because my team losses….there is a reason a team hasnt gone back to back in so long... TBH with you we looked like we were running on empty for most of the season, things looked ok after round 26 but sadly we just were clawing our way through the finals... We had 16 players in the world cup, then played in the Nines then played in the WCC all before the season even started so it felt like 1 LONG season for us... not 2, but regardless i disagree with you about the cowboys game....if that wasnt a knockon then idk what is....as for souths... LoL... with amount of leg ups they have had in the last few seasons its about damn time.. but TBH the telecast of the grandfinal was so one sided i felt for dogs fans, youd have thought only souths were playing.

Need a waaaaaaaaaambulance

Top 10 at best for the WT's , we still don't have solutions to our issues in the centres or tackling machine 2nd rower

You blokes will be Top 5

Every team participated in the World Cup & Nines.

Without SBW & Minichello unfortunately for you I think Roosters will crash and burn this season. Minichello is too big of a loss and RTS isn't a fantastic fullback. Maloney will lose form as will several other players.

not every team played up to the GF, had 16 players representing AND played in the world club challenge..that being said 2014 is over.. we won the MP and that IMO is pretty good considering how average we were in patches this season.

you may be right… we will miss Mini's leadership more then his game, SBW had an average 2014 season yet we still managed to make it 1 game from the GF so i dont think he will be as big of a loss as you may think, Since he arrived guys like Cordner and Guerra have lifted to origin level status, so i think we will be fine in the second row, RTS or Fergo will replace mini at the back and if fergo gets anywhere near the form he did a few season back he is like having Inglis in your team, though i think he will take half a season to hit form.

i think your team will surprise you, you have a ton of young talent just waiting to be woken up and JT is from all account very good at bringing the best out of the young players.. i see you around 10th-8th.. you may just sneak in.

O.K jokes aside Roosterman ….. Tigers 6th providing we have very limited injuries . As for Roosters i think you are going to struggle and Origin Season will hit you guys hard Tupou , Jennings , Guerra , Cordner and possibly even Friend and who knows with Pearce? what Daley is thinking .....
Roosters anywhere between 5th and 8th.
I'm thinking Cowboys will come very close in winning it , Don't know why .....
Some handy signings for the Cowboys
2015 Gains: Jake Granville (Brisbane Broncos, 2016), Ben Hannant (Brisbane Broncos, 2015), Kyle McConnell (2016), Tautau Moga (Mid Season: Sydney Roosters, 2016), Kelepi Tanginoa (Parramatta Eels, 2016)
The Sims brothers are big losses

like i said you guys remind me of the 2010 Roosters, all young guys… may not be the best team but our energy and youth got us to the big dance.... and you have us 5th - 8th??????? are you nuts? hahaha we will be top 4 again, i think Pearce is about to hit his prime, the end of 2014 he played as good as any Number 7 i have seen... he will most likely get captaincy next season and that will bring the best out of him I HOPE..

Cowboys... well now that the NRLs love childs have won the comp i can see those 50/50s starting to go to some QLD teams souths recieved 84 more penalties then us this season which is an insane advantage when the comp is so close.

Roosters 3rd
Tigers 8th

Cowboys vs Roosters GF

the 2 best teams this year IMO were us and souths…. take a look at this stat

Number of times less than 5 penalties received in 2014:-

Roosters - 10
Souths - Zero

Number of times 9 or more penalties received in 2014:-

Roosters - 1
Souths - 13

idk how you can compete with that...yet we won the MP that is why i know we are the best in the comp even without SBW, all stats say we shouldnt be in the top 4 yet we won the MP back to back... incredible

Roosterman = Tim Sheens…reasons not excusses.....lol

Rorters...9th

Mighty WESTS Tigers...undefeated Minor Premiers and eventual Premiers///or 11th could go either way...

Using my logic

We started well this year for maybe 6 games and then fell away mostly due to injuries. We already had some of our top juniors in the team at that time, a few others came in because of the injuries.

I didn't see any young fella consistently take a game by the throat. I was actually surprised that Brooks won that Dally M award.

I did see the whole team collapse into a mob at the end of the season.

I did see some God-awful defence quite often.

No new inspiring player signings

Most of our young guys signed up for a few years to come. However I see these as "fingers crossed" signings. Over all my years only about 10% of top youngsters actually make the grade and stay there. Most completely disappear or are up and down.

My tip: an average injury list and we just miss the 8\. A high injury list and we are bottom 4.

I tend to look at it from a different perspective, cq.
Some of the injuries were to the young guys - who **were** performing at the time.
Tedesco, Nofa, Simona were all going well.
I also think we'll start to see the best out of our young halves this year - especially Moses.
He will know he Tigers have shown an enormous amount of faith in him by letting Austin go - and I believe he'll prove them correct.
We suffered from a makeshift backline most of the year and although our pack went ok in some games the extra year some of the young forwards now have under their belts should help them be more consistent.
Like yourself would love to see one or two inspired signings - but it's not all gloom.
Barring another horrible run of injuries we'll make the 8 in a canter.

interesting conclusion since these stats are for RECEIVING penalty's…..which has nothing to do with our discipline.

so you sucked at dominating the ruck this year and getting penalties from the other team trying to slow you down. souths, with 4 burggi, luke and teo did a bit better.
