How am i a troll? a troll is someone who goes around causing trouble and tries to piss people off etc, If you get pissed because im a roosters fan that is YOUR problem…not mine so don't blame me for that, Any criticism i have ever made on this forum i have backed it up with a thoughtful opinion...i stand by that and you can feel free to look back at any of my posts and find me a time i have said anything to insult anyone on this forum!...im tired of being called a troll purely for the fact im a roosters fan, if you cant look past that you need to do some growing up.

The fact that you suggested we bring back bwaith to captain the side, demonstrates troll traits within your post. Perhaps if you didn't consistently have to reference him in the majority of your posts we would probably take you a little more seriously. It doesn't help that your post is information which is the complete opposite to what is being said from the best source - the coach !

I really wouldn't be surprised if you've just totally fabricated the whole story so you have a reason to mention your love child again. Isn't it funny how you only became interested in the wests tigers and our forum once braith joined our club, even after his left you still can't help yourself. Quite the coincidence..

But if your story is true, then i'd hope Blair would be Robbies replacement.

I like it.

Who would Lawrence be coming in for though?

I can see him possibly being a impact player I just don't know where.

We have good depth in the front row. JT will probably start the season with Galloway but I also rate Ava as a starting prop. I wouldn't be too surprised if Ava outperforms Galloway this season. Good problem to have, unlike the last few seasons.

You're right there mate. Will be good to see the boys competing for spots, it'll keep them honest.
I'm a little worried that well lose Taupau if he can't fit into the starting line up in the forwards. Can see plenty of other clubs making a play for him.

I think we need an explosive Backrower on the edge and I think Taupau can make the transition. He's certainly got the speed to play on the edges. I can see Ava pushing for a starting position in the front row too but I think Lodge is too young to start at this point even though he's been impressive in First Grade so far.

That is a friggin excellent team, Starling! Heaps more impact with Tapau in the back row, an awesome bench and a younger, faster centre pairing - I'd run with that team first up, also.

I don't mean to be rude , but what is the fascination with playing Taupau in the 2nd row??

We all complained about putting 2nd rowers on the wing , what the difference ??

From what I have seen Taupau doesn't have the work rate to play in the back row and would get found out laterally by the smaller , quicker centres / players

I'm with Happy on Taupau. Only a select few players can perform at a high level in the middle and as an edge player. I don't see the attributes in him to excel as a backrower, but am happy to be proven wrong.

I think many will be pleasantly surprised by an off season without surgery improved Sirro come the first round, together with a better Sitakela also providing great impact.

I think with the success that players like Leeson Ah Mau and Ben Matulino are having playing a wide running role it shows that some of the faster props can make the transition. I think Taupau is similar to these two in the sense that he is fast and mobile for a big guy and explosive. He could create havoc on the edges and I don't think his work rate is too bad. Watching some of the games he played in 2014, he really ripped in and his work rate seemed reasonable. He is a great prop though so I can see why people would be reluctant to move him from that role especially given his form there.

I'm no 2nd rower expert so I don't really know if there is much of a difference between the the 11 and 12 positions other than one is on the left and the other is right side.
In the old days.. It was generally one each side of the ruck. Now days they seem a lot wider towards the backs..and the 13 plays up the middle.
Each year coaches do seem to slightly tweak the way different positions work..or in Haslers case it's often more than a tweak.
If you gave one second rower a licence to roam both sides out wide and the other second rowers role was to stiffen up the middle. Then I could see the Taupau/ Siro combination working. We would be dynamite up the middle but maybe be lacking that Fulton type work horse defender.

Come on Happy, I know you better, you did mean to be rude  Seriously though, you can't see any difference between playing second rowers on the wing to playing props in the second row? At least the props would still remain in the forward pack!

Ftr, I reckon Taupau could make the transition to the backrow quite easily, with a bit of work, and end up making a huge impact for us out wide. Let's face it, unless Sirro aims up next season, our back row options are looking a tad lame.

Sirro is recovering from surgery according to the latest injury update. So not quite a full off season for him again.

Massive difference mate , your second rowers are 3 in (wingers ,centres 2nd row in defence )

Props play centre of the ruck and get far better protection from the smaller ,nimble players

Out wide they are massive targets for halves ,fullbacks and quick centres

As annoying as it can be listen to Fittler and Joey when they start talking about game plans , as halves they are looking for high percentage attacking options

Being able to target a prop playing 3 in would be a massive attacking option

If want to get the benefits of his size and speed in the opposition red zone , by all means get him wider of the ruck running angles targeting the smaller blokes

Nothing personal , as I have said many times defence wins football games and we had the worst defence in the NRL in 2014

Lets create less headaches defensively in 2015 , not more

Where do the likes of Pritchard, Williams. Papali. Taumolo et al defend

Well that depends on what their 13 is doing Geo ??

Blair will be 13 and he plays tight to help control the speed of the ruck and wrestle

If you have a 13 who is more mobile he can play in a more traditional defensive role and you can then play a back rower tighter

But we aren't the above clubs .

Other issue is our inside men which will be Moses and Brooks in the defensive line

You put Taupau and either Brooks or Moses together at 3 and 4 in and we might as well mark the highway we would be building for opposition sides to stroll down

Just my opinion though
