2016 NSW Cup team?

[ Depends how the first grade team plays out. Addo-Carr is looking like a first grade prospect and Rankin would look really good in the centres but at the end of the day, our depth is looking really good. Simona & Nofo are first grade starters but the other centre and wing position looks up for grabs. So we could see Naiqama, Addo-Carr or even Chee-Kam or some under 20's graduate, such as Kharwin, Satterthwaite, Wheelhouse or Jacobs finding their way into that backline. ]

[ Can't see Kyle Lovett squeezing into a full strength first grade team so back to NSW Cup for him. By all reports Tyler Cassel is an absolute machine. We have LOTS of competition for both first grade and NSW cup but I think this will be the starting line up. Keep an eye out for Jacob Liddle getting some game time in NSW Cup either at #9 or off the bench this year. ]

[ There could be some guys I think will make the first grade 17 that won't that will slot right into the NSW Cup team. Guys like - Rod Griffin, Jesse Parahi, etc… Cherrington might miss out and play the year in NSW Cup but who knows. All I know is our depth is looking solid with hopefully a few more signings to come! ]

That looks like a highly likely side to me though i can see Rod Griffin starting from NSW Cup and brought in to 1st grade after a little while. What's the go with bringing an Imperial measurement into a metric conversation Happy, particularly as you were born a few years after we adopted the new system? :slight_smile:

Yeah very hard, struggling to find a place with Buchanan having first grade experience, and having seen real potential in McConnachie. Although if the coaches see promising signs from Griffin in preseason, that could all change.

Just watched those highlights of Giffen. The footwork is great at the line. Someone like Teddy or Brooks will be ready for that offload if he does get an NRL start. He will more likely start in NSW cup, but around Origin I can see him making 1st
