Fair play to the Roosters, absolutely played the Storm off the park today, deserved the W. Tactical masterclass moving Cronk around and Keary was absolutely fantastic in taking the reigns.

Congrats to Tedesco, another great game. Very good game by Masterson.
Against 2 best team this season, we won 3 out of 4 games,
and 1 out of 2 against this year champions, not a bad effort.

In hindsight, instead of targeting Cronk, maybe Storm should have targeted Keary. But easy to say in hindsight.

I wouldn’t believe that a team these days could win a GF with 12 playing players on field through out the game, you have to give credit to their defence to be able to do that, and to Keary who made it possible for Cronk to still run the team.

It’s a different thing to stay on when injured than it is to go in for a full game, knowing that you are a much bigger target and will be targeted for the full 80 minutes.
I think that Cronk deserves any credit possible , to do what he was signed to do ,under those circumstances .

It wasnt a ripper….Roosters were a brick wall...defensively terrific and agressive in attack....other than that it wasnt much of a game really, very one sided and really never in doubt, no contest at all...was all over at the 20 minute mark

Easts were brilliant and Keary had an unbelieve game. Was a no brainer for Clive Churchill Medal.
Easts bought Teddy and Cronk to fill positions they were weak in to it worked perfectly.
No matter what you think of Cronk, I am a huge fan, he has played in 8 Grand Finals (modern day record) and has won 5 of them. He brings so much professionalism and inspirational. Will not be considered an immortal but definite a Hall of Famer.
So glad Ryan Matterson and Paul M are both coming to WT in 2019\. Hopefully they will bring some of the winning culture to WT.
Given Cronk's injury and having won another Grand Final do Forum members believe he may announce his retirement and if so will Easts look at the Dally M half back Luke Brooks as a replacement?

The two best run clubs played in the gf. We need to wise up.
Congrats to Teddy, he made a wise career choice and will continue to benefit from it. Our guys will go back to the back of a grandstand.
