Look he wasn’t the best player on the field but he was the most dangerous when ball in hand. Dumb dumb play by nsw to not kick away from him.

Absolute joke. Slater is a great player but this would never happen if they had won a series - makes a mockery of our players and what they achieved.
 
Maybe I’m still bitter, but I don’t know how anyone on this forum can support any team that has any of the traitors in the side. Regardless if it’s the Blues, Kangeroos, or the Camden Rams. Turns my stomach. Glad the grub lost. He can go to hell and stay there.

If Nathan Cleary is the answer to either the NSW or Wests Tigers half back problem then I'm a bad judge. The only thing I can remember him doing in 3 SOO games is that sideline tackle in game 2\. It's the old conundrum isn't it.
Both Brooks and Cleary now have strong defence.
Both Brooks and Cleary have good passing games.
Both brooks and Cleary are good link players.
Both brooks and Cleary are good support players.
Both Brooks and Cleary have good running games.
Brooks is a much better player outside of a structured formation and Clearys strength is to play in a structured formation.
Main difference is Brooks lack of ability to play with control in stages of the game.
However you could argue that he has more creativity in his game at this stage.
So which would you prefer, composure or creativity?
And which value is easier to come by a half?

Yep that's what I said in an earlier post. It's a bloody disgrace - Cordner, Cook, Maloney and Frizell all more deserving of player of the series. Takes the shine off our series win because they have to make it all about effen Billy - I'm over it, makes me puke. The worst of it was that he only played two of the games, but somehow outshines everyone who put in for three matches! Give me a break.
 
I'm getting the feeling more and more that NRL is like WWF, in that it is totally scripted. Penalties were what 8-2? Momentum is so important, and so easily swayed when two teams are so close, and yet…

Anyway, I would love to get just one of those forwards tonight in Tigers colours, any one of them would be great. (McCullough excepted)
 
Not a great win by Qld but we will take the win

NSW defence in the 1st half was damn good but it came back to bite them

DCE played well as did Kaufusi and Slater

To the fans wanting Oates , his hands kill him so often , not a back rower imo
