Thankfully this is over.

We have done well getting Michael Maguire. Bennett may have brought more clout but we now have a hard nosed coach who has a proven track record.

Good job Justin and co, now give this guy the resources he needs to get this job done.

When the choice came to one between Madge or Bennett, I was comfortable. Only half the Coachs in the NRL have actually won a comp. We have a decent squad with spots remaining and money to spend. Maguire wouldn’t have taken us on if he didn’t think he could make us successful.

I believe it 100%. I would have preferred Bennett but couldn't possibly complain about Maguire. He's a premiership winner and seems like a really good bloke, although I thought the same of Cleary. How wrong I was.
It will be interesting to see what happens with the coaching and training staff already at WT. Will Hodgson, Webster, Palmer etc survive? I'm not sure that Maguire is the type of coach who has his own entourage of support staff so the incumbents may get the chance to show Maguire they deserve to be retained.
