So the coach that informed his CEO and chair that he would rather be coaching Penrith than their team

Hahah…nice spin.
I thought he said he'd honour his contract

Okay, so what else could he have possibly said to Pascoe that changed their relationship and had him inform everyone that Ivan would not be allowed to leave early to join Penrith?

Pretty obvious to almost everyone, that is what happened.
If Ivan was commited, or even told Pascoe he was commited to us, there would have been no need to mention legal action.
And for Pascoe to mention that Ivan done something to change their friendship, there is not much left to the imagination.
If Ivan never done any of this he would have shut this down a long time ago, but he has gone to ground.

He has gone to ground and he can go to hell!

Maybe Go & Pascoe were addressing the media speculation

They were directly addressing the content of the conversation/s that they had with Ivan as they referred to their content. I suggest that you have another look at their interviews if you are in any doubt, particularly Pascoe's as he gave a little more than Go, who was very guarded.

Yeah righto… I really cbf tbh going back to August... This is all tedious enough as it is... Whatever happens happens

This might be a silly thing to say but what about we sign Wayne Bennett for 2020 for three years and let him appoint a caretaker coach for 2019\. You never know we might get Demetriou for a year. Not sold on Maguire.

Only one thing you’ve forgotten….. How do we Get Wayne to want to come here, it’s his last contract and wants a premiership as a going away present ,
If nothing gets better here . we won’t be giving him that present.

The Brisbane River will flow clean water , before Bennett comes here except as an opposition Coach.

Somehow I feel we will get a dud deal.
I'll laugh if we end up with Griffin and release Cleary. Gus doing the old switcheroo on the coaches.
Knowing us we will probably cop that. I hate this club at times.

A bit early for hate don't you think. We haven't signed a new coach yet and still might end up with Cleary for 2019 at least.

No hate this end, but massive disappointment in an individual. I really find it hard to fathom the ridiculousness and extent of this father/son coaching crap. Unless of course, it has been played out to benefit them both at the expense of many others, and if so, then my feelings for the pair would be verging on hatred.

I’ll cry if we end up with Griffin, , if that ever did occur, ( and it won’t)
I’d be off to plead for The Scarecrow to come back!!!

I find it hard to fathom too. I have four boys and love them all fiercely but I would never have wanted to work with them. I played in the same seniors cricket team with them and, instead of sledging the opposition, they were sledging me.
Nathan still lives at home so he and Ivan would see plenty of each other. Perhaps it's just ego on Ivan's part that he believes he can make Nathan the best player he can be.

Being together with Nathan wasn't the first thought I had as to why IC would want to be at the Panthers.

I’d say the legal threats were”. We are tough”, bluffs , otherwise it would be over by now, if there was evidence where they Could do anything it’d be done,

Well a few people are throwing up Griffins name , I’m surprised he hasn’t thrown his hat in for the manly job. At the end of the day he was the scapegoat by Gould & Cleary there’s been nothing mentioned at all about his future. “strange”.

TPJ rumoured to be signing only one year with broncos

Maybe Bennett using him as a bargaining tool in negotiations with tiger's

You keep IC for 1 year and I will bring TPJ with me in 2020 as i just want 1 last year with broncos

How many times does Bennett have to say that he
Is staying in Brisbane next year before some here finally get it?

What the hell have you been smoking?

I said 2020
