Looks like our bye is before Origin 1, weekend off for all teams for Origin 2, and we play the Rooster Round 16 before Origin 3 (again without their Origin players).

It's Ok we'll be without ours too..

feelsbadman, we didn't win against roosters without their origin players, i was nearing death by the end of that game, especially since we lost the game by 2cm thanks to a great try saving tackle :bawling

Panthers at Suncorp round 9?
First WSS home game not till round 13?

Round 9 is the magic weekend, all games played at suncorp across the weekend. Should be a good time

Would you believe its a broncos AWAY game, only the NRL could do that and say its fair

Why am I not surprised

3x5 day turnaround games is not good.I wonder how many other teams have been shafted like this? Not many i would think

From Nrl.com

“Five-day turnarounds are more evenly spread in 2019\. There are two more short turnarounds across the entire draw but in contrast to 2018 – when four clubs had three and three clubs had none – the spread is now more even. Two clubs have three in 2019 (Dragons and Wests Tigers) but neither of those had three last season. Two clubs have none (Penrith and Souths) while the other 12 clubs have one or two five-day turnarounds.”

Again from Nrl.com

“Teams they play twice: Sea Eagles, Bulldogs, Panthers, Eels, Roosters, Rabbitohs, Raiders, Cowboys, Knights.

Teams they play once: Warriors, Broncos, Titans, Storm, Dragons, Sharks.

Day-by-day breakdown: Thursday - Five, Friday - Six, Saturday - Seven, Sunday - Five, Monday - One.

Five-day turnarounds: 3 (Rd 4, Rd 7, Rd 22).

Kick-off: The Wests Tigers are the only team which will play their first three matches at home in 2019 - Leichhardt Oval clashes with Manly and Canterbury either side of a round-two tussle with the Warriors at Campbelltown. They remain in Sydney as well for round four when they head to Penrith.

The Tigers' key five games
Toughest stretch: Rounds 7-11\. By the time the Wests Tigers hit their round-12 bye they should have a pretty good idea of their potential finals credentials. And the bye will probably be welcome after a five-week stretch that includes trips to Tamworth, Brisbane and Melbourne as well as four straight games against 2018 top-eight sides – including both grand final teams.

And another thing: The Tigers are locked in for four home games at Western Sydney Stadium, replacing the four home games they played at ANZ Stadium last season. Campbelltown Stadium and Leichhardt Oval (three each) and Scully Park at Tamworth (one game) have the same allotment as last season. The remaining home game will be played at Suncorp for Magic Round in 2019 rather than in Auckland.”

5 Thursday night games is a joke. Might be good for tv ratings but it’s a rubbish draw for the fans

That IS a joke, we get 20% of thurs games and 15 other teams share the other 80%

Brisbane playing as the away team at their home ground, now we know why they called it magic weekend, home team suddenly becomes away tem - *poof* - magic, thanks Todd…Im sure they'll get pipsquek sutton giving em a leg up too

We have been rorted before a ball has been kicked.

Thursday night games to kill our crowds, the most 5 day turnarounds in the competition, and the scheduling of our home games at the traditional venues is a joke

Hmmm - except we lose a home game because of it.

Silly you all , Suncorp is our 12th home ground

At least we won't have as many captains as home grounds with Madge taking over

Just hope we have more total wins for the season …...... something tells me 10 wins might be pushing the friendship in 2019

Does anyone know if Tigers members will get a priority window for the Easter Monday game? The league are promoting it as an event game so may be hard to get tickets.

Does anyone know if there is any reciprocal arrangement for away games at WSS?

I was looking at a WSS membership before and saw nothing about reciprocal extras.
Still see nothing, nothing also about public transport which was included in ANZ memberships
WTs membership page is a nightmare…its a freeking mess for me

Was thinking the same thing re reciprocal but as there is only the Tigers and Parra there at present and the first game is opening night of WSS , I doubt there will be any as it will be a sellout. Nothing been mentioned re transport will have to wait and see .

Apparently public transport was one of parras gripes?

Did we settle for the short end of the stick?
It will be interesting to see whether the Members food prices at the Eels v Tigers game match the cost of the food at a Tigers home game. Chances are being an anchor tenant their fans will get a better deal… be interesting that’s all I’m saying.

NRL 2019 draw: Every club’s schedule graded from toughest to most favourable

How does YOUR team’s schedule look in 2019?

Source: FOX SPORTS
WE are only four weeks removed from the 2018 grand final but the release of next season’s NRL draw gives fans of all 16 teams a renewed sense of optimism.

But that depends on who you support — and who they’re up against in 2019.

Foxsports.com.au has calculated each club’s strength (or ease) of schedule for the whole season. This is determined by giving every team a score based on their final-round ladder position in 2018, then grading every single match-up across 25 rounds in 2019.

The Roosters finished first and are graded 16 — the toughest possible opponent; the wooden-spoon Eels are graded 1 — the most favourable opponent. Therefore the club with the highest cumulative ‘score’ across 25 rounds has the most difficult schedule; likewise the lowest score presents the most comfortable schedule.

This isn’t scientific and doesn’t take into account a whole range of variables, but it gives us an early glimpse at the run each team faces through 25 rounds. For instance, the Eels and Cowboys could arguably bounce back strongly in 2019, while the Roosters would try to defy history and become the first club in 21 years to win back to back titles.

There are also other factors: injuries; form; consecutive games against strong or weak teams; and the Origin period.

But let’s get to it, ranking each team from worst to first. Which team has the least favourable schedule, and whose draw presents the best opportunity to start planning for September 2019?

16\. Cowboys (218 schedule strength grade)

15\. Bulldogs (216)

14\. Titans (215)

13\. Warriors (210)

=10\. Eels (209)

=10\. Panthers (209)

=10\. Raiders (209)

9\. Roosters (208)

8\. Sea Eagles (207)

7\. Broncos (205)

6\. Rabbitohs (199)

5\. Knights (196)

=3\. Sharks (195)

=3\. Tigers (195)

2\. Storm (191)

1\. Dragons (190)

Short memory Happy?
I’m sure it was Madge that implemented the everyone’s a Captain setup at South Sydney.
Settling at Michael Crocker the following season only not to be used in first grade from about round 8 onwards.
I’m expecting more of the same…
