Having multiple error messages saying ‘invalid-event’ whenever I move to a new thread. New layout is nice though

try reloading the webpage or site - it was happening to me too but now it's all good after refreshing or reloading

We did have an app for a few years.
Correct me if I’m wrong but if a platform like Instagram or Spotify are firstly designed to be an app they work well. If they are a website first then repurposed to be an app they are a punish to maintain and have limited functionality. The site works better (Unless you have unlimited tech Resources).

Yep, I wrote RoarFEED several years ago.
But that was back when websites didn't have responsive designs.
Building and maintaining apps is a LOT of work, there's a reason why a basic app would cost at least $40k to write.

At the end of the day, once the forum layouts become responsive it meant that it was easier to remove the app. The site works fine on mobile phones.

Now if there was an off-the-shelf app that could plug into the forum then I'd certainly facilitate that

Wow. I didn’t realise there was an option for infinite scrolling. Just updated in settings and loving it. Are there any other settings people use to optimise your experience on a mobile.

I don’t enjoy infinite scroll, I’d rather have a pagination thread I also can’t stand the sticky headers and the font is less dense and harder to read.

Yep i don't get it either. Whether on mobile or desktop i log in and click on a thread, go to my most recent unread post and then just keeping scrolling down til i'm up to date.

If there's a lot of waffle it certainly allows for a speedier bypass. Why keep clicking next page, waiting for a page to load, read some comments then stop click next page again, wait for it to load and start again?? You can also see which post you're upto in the thread to judge how many new comments there are to read. There's simply no benefit to pagination, but each to their own i guess...

Ditch the pages and you don't get that.....
