John Morris is next coach from what I’ve heard mate they don’t want Flano as coach probably due to the drug and cap scandal

Morris was well respected by the team at the Sharks and got them finals bound and that’s with everything wrong for them at the time no cap, struggling to offload players etc may as well give Morris a chance he’s at least got his team finals bound may as well see what he can do with cap to spend

Can you remind me why they moved Morris on. He'd done a reasonably good job and they replaced him with an untried NRL coach. We need to look at why these guys get moved on to make sure we don't inherit a problem.

The story was he was moved on because the management believed he could not attract big name players

Not sure why they decided to move him on but he did get his team finals bound twice and that’s with a pretty ordinary roster too sure there was some good players there and still are with even more now but that’s what we need to look at he had no cap and pretty much upgraded their juniors with a few exceptions and still got them finals bound we may as well
give him a try we do have money to spend for 23 we can’t just let it sit there

Yeh, I just can't recall but what you say sounds correct. If that's the case it will be no different with WT and without quality players a new coach will make zero difference.
Personally I'd go Flanagan if we can get him or Ciraldo if he'd come to us.

In also saying that there was barely any cap money during his run as coach may as well see who he can attract with money but he’ll probably still upgrade some of our juniors which I don’t have a problem with but we can’t just rely on them we do need names at our club
 
John Morris did a good job with the team at the Sharks. Defence was good, attack was decent.

Like people have said though I'm not sure if he could attract big names.

I doubt Flanno could attract names either to be honest.Not now
 
I would go hard for Ciraldo and have Sheens mentor him more. Morris is okay but not the answer, I don't know about Flanagan, he seems to know his stuff but he had a pretty amazing roster at Sharks. The darkhouse could be Kristian Woolfe, the Islander boys love him, he would be my second option after Ciraldo.

Already tried for Ciraldo he said no Flano is smart but heard he said no too most likely unless Woolf wants to come into the picture its Morris as our next coach

He had little to no cap which is why he focused on the juniors and when he did the club got rid of him I don’t think he even got to try and sign a big name before they got rid of him
 
Sooo m&m has a few weeks left to turn it around otherwise is curtains
It might arrive a bit earlier if we lose to the dragoners
