Was it the right one for your length of membership?

Nah I've been a continuous member since 2010, but that's fine, I wasn't expecting any bonus anyway

Thanks @Tigerdave but the question was directed at @bathursttiger1.

I am curious to know what peoples thoughts are about the overall professionalism of the clubs membership department?
Ive found them to lack very basic knowledge about Rugby League and possess even less knowledge of Weststigers themselves. One would have thought the complete love and knowlegde of the club who employes you would have surely been a prerequisite before being hired. I could forgive them if that was the only thing lacking but it appears every year there are email mix ups, package delays , forgotten return calls , lost info, lack of product knowledge and so forth.
I honestly feel as though im dealing with work experience kids rather then a professional group responsible for potentially millions of dollars in revenue.

You mean like most Retailers or Call Centres employ? I think expectations are way to high there. Yes there needs to be management with experience and understanding of the club but day to day sales workforce, not so much.

When I decided no more memberships for me a few years back it was something of a relief knowing I didnt have to deal with the annual stuff ups, phone calls, emails.
It was never straightforward

Any reply from the club @cochise ?

I have had a few mix ups over the years but they have always worked hard to resolve the issues that I have had. I think your expectations may be a little high, Rugby League clubs are unusual organisations. They are multi million dollar operations that sink most of their money into half the organisation which often leaves the admin side of the business operating on a much smaller budget than you would expect for a business of its size. You often end up with a lot of young employees who are doing their best but lack experience.

Any reply from the club @cochise ?

I have emailed the club this morning, I have been a little busy this week.

I’ll be a member in 22 again because they have hired Sheens and backed Madge. No more pandering to weak players. I have faith in guys like Doueihi and Stef if the club are good enough to get them some help.

As a bonus I believe there'll be a special spoon-shaped pin for members in 2022.

Hopefully they will produce it from a sustainable material.

The following should be considered, wood is 100% sustainable:

Even as it ages, it does not cause damage to the environment. Timber is renewable, recyclable, waste efficient, biodegradable, carbon positive and sourced from Australian grown plantations.

Unlike many materials (steel, for instance), wood does not deplete the earth of its natural resources. Because it's a resource that more or less stands on its own, it can be grown and harvested over and over again.

I spoke to the club regarding bay 25, bays 25 and 24 along with bays 13 and 14 will now be classed as reserved seating so will not be able to used as part of a GA membership. A new type of membership as been created for these bays.

All this talk about pins and pens, My son an I have been a members since 2009 continuous and have received Dudley squat. My son received an invite to a 10 yr dinner (I think it was) and maybe sew on patch for some length of time, can’t recall it properly but even though I pay for both memberships I’ve still received nothing.
My sons had enough of the crap the team dishes up so probably no more memberships for me.

I know people give the membership team a hard time but they just randomly sent me a signed jersey and not saying thanks for your support so they are trying. It’s a hard sell and I wouldn’t want the job.

CFK

I bet it is a hard sell. A signed jersey from this years team would not be easy to get rid of:face_with_rolling_eyes: .

Got an email from the club yesterday regarding prices $1150 or something for reserved seats family of 4

Gone up again lol, but the rewards program they implementing is pretty good.

It's absurd that they've pocketed profits from memberships two years in a row when fans have largely been unable to attend (yes of course clubs lost other revenue streams as a result) but to then not only not decrease, but INCREASE fees is an outrageous slap in the face. We're a mess, performance has been awful, we've been paying for games we can't attend and their response is to exploit us even further?

That's a very insulting way to treat your members.
