I’ll be signing up again but can see membership numbers plummeting next year.

You would say that every year, but they had very high membership last year.

It’s very similar to the vibe on the forum. After the Dogs game in the final round, people were prepared to burn their jersey’s and never watch another game. But then comes November and December and all that is forgotten and everyone is enthusiastic about us being a chance for the 8. Even though not much has changed in the way of the roster.

I see every post or comment on the WTF similar to all other social media platforms, an authentic form of self-expression only whilst memberships are a realistic gauge of how invested supporters are in the club - regardless of results. But in saying that it (support) obviously also extends beyond those numbers.
There's no doubt the quality of talent and depth gives teams a competitive edge but its the governance of those clubs, which help create sustainable outcomes that allow them to be the top performing teams.

I believe for the first time in our history we have an action plan, that is systemised and highly measurable of player or team progress - characteristics, capabilities and limitations - and the right personnel to facilitate further development of both. (Papalií and Korisau will help balance the team out more when they arrive). However, moreso we're covering key elements/components that will allow us to grow with change rather than slip at every turn.
Know it's going to be slow and steady but I'm very much looking forward to seeing Gardiner's, Cayless's and Kimmorley's influence on the team. As long as the players can show some ability in playing nice in the sandbox and being accountable for individual actions, we're off to a great start.
Our recent administration changes and success in our lower grades already show a competitive culture at the club and for mine it shows management are providing attention and direction in the right areas. It also builds some hope for us that it will eventually translate onto the field.

Wow!!! What an inspiring post @Lauren
Maybe You've started something for others to follow.
That bed rest has really got you firing again, eh.

Put myself through this every year, must get it right soon ?
I just feel that our new organisational constructs and the fact we're more methodical and cautious - have implemented a more coherent or unified process framework, for all grades and not just NRL - in our approach, ensures things like effective roster management and maintaining strength in our junior pathways are priorities, and achievable.
All constraints we've had have been self-inflicted really and the fact two of our biggest obstacles, negative media presence and recruitment ability (honestly didn't think we'd get a win with our 2 key signings) are undergoing positive changes makes me ever so hopeful the tide is turning.

Tbh @GNR4LIFE made me laugh as after that final display from the team, I was pretty much damning them to hell too.
2021 was a very testing year.

fingers crossed, hope like hell,it will toon aroond soon.and be sustainable

I haven’t stepped into a Woolworths for at least 12 months so I can’t comment on whether online prices are steeper. You do have to pay a delivery fee each shop. I pay a delivery fee subscription of $19 per month which im happy to do to save about 12 hours a month in going to the shops. Woolies are a lot better than they used to be when mistakes occur. Typically you can order same day delivery on the missing item and they waive the delivery fee. Also you can instant refund any item via their bot with no questions asked.

Its only a few months into my membership and I’ve already recouped my costs as a non-ticketed member through Wests Tigers rewards Woolworths vouchers. Thank you Wests Tigers!

You get Woolies vouchers with a membership?

If you sign up to WT rewards you can buy discounted gift vouchers for a heap of places including Woolworths

You might need to guide some of us through the process mate. I’ve tried to find the info on the website but I can just see some corporate partner offers.

We get click and collect a lot (they bring it out to the boot - zero contact). The prices for that are the same as the instore prices - even the catalogue specials were available.

Thanks Geo. I was going to ask about that - they weren’t specific…

Do they advertise the catalogue specials when you shop online?
Some things we stock up on when it's half price, Coles usually has brown rice 50% off every few months

I think for both you can use the online catalogue to do the online shopping. You tap/click on the item and it should take you to your online order. Works for Woolies anyway.
