2022 Top 30 Squad Can Make The Semi Finals

The first 3 weeks will tell us all we need to know. Very winnable games. I personally don’t see us beating Melbourne, but if we did, it wouldn’t be the upset of the century. But our following two games are against Newcastle and the Warriors. If we come out of that period 0-3, it’s confirmation that we are in for another long year.
The newie game should be very very winnable for us....

The warriors have been the thorn in our side for some reason the last few years

The early rounds are winnable for most teams and traditionally a lot of upsets, I dream that we not only win but have the best for and against 6si we can post the ladder of us on top 👍

Not convinced the pack has the nouse to hold their own. The backs are patchy at best, and and the spine is consistently inconsistent. At least 10 better squads on paper- we will need a lot of variables to go our way to get even close imo. The coaches job will be on the line even though no one rates his squad.
I'm hoping the adjusting of the repeat set rule will help our team if we are getting dominated in our own half - might prevent some of the fatigue factor and blow out scores. If I'm wrong look forward to all those predicting a better year to let the doubters know.

Most bottom sides lack discipline and the basics like making silly mistakes out of their own end. Those are 2 areas we need to be on top of.
The manly boss was reqlly worried that the new rule with set restarts is going to halt the sea eags attack 🤨

This is really important. You also need the strike to get on the scoreboard. That also puts pressure on the opposition and then they can make the dumb mistakes.

I think this year with Hastings in the halves,he will get us on the front foot real quick if the forwards do their work...he is unlike Brooks who everyone went to with last tackle options and we all know what that meant...Hastings should be able to mix things up a bit and therefore Melb wont know if Brooks or Hastings are going to be the last tackle options....having said that,we can only wait and see if this team can improve dramatically than over previous years...

We still have more trophies in our cabinet than Pawwa have in theirs unless you want to count wooden spoons as a trophy
Very true, I'll repost that picture at the end of the season with the minor and premiership trophies in there, what other tropheys are up for grabs, community service awards? There must be more, come on Jadtiger think, our team needs us 😸

And repeat sets. It's something we haven't been able to do for years. If Hastings and Brooks between them can manage to keep possession at their end we're a massive chance.
