2024 Grand Final

I am excited as a Rugby League fan to see the two best teams play in the flag ship game.
To me this is Penrith last chance at GF glory and they just know how to win games.
Penrith by 7 in a tight game.
MOM Jarome

4 in a row unfortunately.

18-16 penrith- golden child or Yeo will win CC but my best will be To'o. I picked him for MoM in 2022 as well but Edwards got it.

I think we might see fairly subdued kick offs compared to recent weeks
A head bin or sin bin would be way too costly even though the Storms got past it recently...
Gunna be a cracker of a game

What do we think of Cronk tactic... Kick off to Cleary all the time and from the get go?
Apparently he's usually parked only 30m odd away from midfield they be on top of him. Instantly.
Also Dane Nielsen reckons not to run straight at him but try and make him stretch/reach in defense... Sounds easier said than.done.both these

I didn't say I don't respect them. I just don't like them. All and sundry hated manly for decades and most weren't around when they were poaching all the best players to know why they hated them. These days most hate Parra. I hate Melbourne. It's infuriating to watch them get away with murder week after week. It makes a mockery of the supposed fairness of the game. No other team gets away with as many forward passes, hell, Grant hasn't thrown one backwards since he played for us!! They have been systemic cheats on and off the field since their inception.
Penrith have done incredibly well to build this dynasty, but I still want to see it crumble. Why? Because I want to see more than 3 teams competing for the crown every year. I'm certainly not alone in that.
Hate is a useless emotion. Clouds your judgement. Live in peace ✌️

Not sure which team to support in this game? Storm have 3 ex Tigers, while Panthers have only 2? Tipping the scales is Panthers with 2 player’s coming to Tigers in 25. Guess I’m leaning towards Panthers.
Both teams are tightly matched, with real estate playing a huge role.
Penrith have an advantage with a record of kicking long, which will also suit their short quick wingers who will have no trouble getting downtown.

The Cronk tactic of kicking off to Nathan and then rag dolling him will result in sinbins as the Penrith boys will not put up with that bullyboy stuff.
The Nielsen tactic is more subtle and something I think they will attempt. Munster running at him with Paps looming on his inside shoulder whilst looking to play out could create linebreaks. We saw Brisbane do something similar in last years GF to great affect.
What Melbourne must do, is keep their fair share of possession. Error rates have to be very low to beat Penrith. If Cleary is allowed to dictate, the juggernaut will just roll on to another premiership.

I think as a rule of thumb, moving forward and forever, the team with less players affected by the stench of our club will win.

I'm going for the Panthers even though I enjoy watching the Storm play. I have got over my hate for Clearly, and respect how that club has managed to build success off the back of a great squad. Winning 4 in a row would be a great feat given that it is slowly but surely being picked apart. The last of the Cleary/ Luai era.

I would like Graham Annessley to come clean and explain why last years GF ref
Adam Gee is on the outer , Maybe there is a good explanation ? Or whos toes did he step on ?
Gould was dumped from commentating because of perceived bias.
But then Gee’s replacement Klein has shown bias toward QLD teams, making Penriths job harder.

The storm have been the most consistent from games I’ve seen but I think panthers are the team most likely in a come from behind
So my prediction is 🤷‍♀️
It’s a hard one to pick.
I’m going the team who has been on top most of the year due to their consistency and that they aren’t as bashed up.
Melbourne by 8.
