2025 - Round 1 Fixtures

Just listening g to That Fool zorba he said on air we had the bye round one..
Surely not again. Don’t think the NRL would do that two years in a row.
Who will Newcastle’s halves be in 2025? Unless we get a couple of forwards Newcastle’s pack will dominate ours (like every other team).

I actually think Knights is a good match up for us. Just need to learn how to tackle Best and Ponga. Those are the 2 that make us often look stupid in defence and cost us the match.

Maybe Cogger and Crossland

You'd think this is gunna be at CSS or LO

Hard to get a good crowd where ever it is played at 6.00pm on a Friday night, unless of course it is at Newcastle, which of course it is not.

Spoonbowl suggest it can happen at Campbelltown. With it being Luai's 1st game in our colours, we can pack the place again. Hopefully a different performance and result though!

As much as i would like this game to be at a real home ground i would much rather it is played at parra stadium to satisfy our obligations.6pm on a Friday night is a terrible time and if it is going to be a poor crowd so parra is the perfect place for it.We need a big crowd at out proper home games to intimidate the opposition and parra will never do that

Why would a first round 6pm game be a poor crowd? Lets pack it out wherever and what time it is. Get a round 1 win
Lots of people knock off at 5pm... Not much time to get to the ground. In time for kick off... I'd suggest LO probably best for round one allows those working in the city a chance to get there
LikeTom said I reckon Parra will be kept for high drawing Sydney teams

It will be interesting to see how the home ground allocation is decided this year. Do they have the interstate teams at CommBank and save the rivals for LO and Cambo?
