2026 pre season

Tigers have signed 25-year-old Max Lehmann (former Eels & South Sydney player) who will be used to cover the centre and wing position and brings in a wealth of experience having played in the lower grades for several years.

Zero Tackle understands that Lehmann has signed an NSWRL contract (which will make him available for the NSW Cup in 2026) with the club, which includes several training weeks with the first-grade side.

While he won't join the club's Top 30 roster or development list immediately, he has been seen training with the first-grade squad during pre-season alongside the likes of Maxwell Taotua and Luke Jack.

Is that the Amerian kid we signed ??

Royce and Bunty = the new bash brothers , or we start with one , Royce , then bring on Pole , start second half with Bunty, etc , we need to inflict damage early

KPP brings to WT the luxury of now having a pair of 80 minute edge forwards. That should allow us another middle interchange, as well as Terrell playing less and more effective minutes.

I expect that Bunty has been promised a top 30 spot similar to the Sione situation prior this season, and will be promoted once someone is moved on or nothing of interest falls from a tree.

if all go's accordingly, 1 to move on ( Bunty wouldnt b on tt if otherwise) 3 spots still open and 1 in t&t - how much of the cap is spare ?

Yeah, reckon we all wish that we had even a rough idea of the available cap space. If indeed there are 3 open spots, my stab is say $750/800k, or basically 2 average salaries remaining to split between them.

That Zurich patch is hideous.

The first time I saw it I thought whoever was our sleeve sponsor had dropped out (I think it was FAB that controversially departed at that time) and that they had made a temporary fix to obliterate the old sponsor with a roll of blue racer tape they had laying around.

A lot of people seem to be complaining about the large tiger on the front of the training gear but as someone else has said, it probably looks better than the EMPOWER logo with what looks like 3 pussy cats on the front.

Personally I don't mind it, at least for now.

Yeah that 3 tiger emblem was fair dinkum hideous.
Looked like a kid designed it.
The new gear looks cool, I’d wear it.
