PVL will win if he want to , I feel we if 2026 goes well ( make the 8 ) we definitely should be heading over , the Tigers brand would be huge in the US and I think PVL knows it , exposure , huge trip for the players , exciting for the fans , I say just do it , would love to see a vote on hear who thinks to go or not to go

When these Vegas jaunts first became a thing a few years back...i tries to imagine us going...all i could envision was embarrasment...wed probably forget to bring the jerseys or something.
Dont.feel.that way so much now but 28....if things go well this year and we are competitive....but i also see SMs pov that it can be a.huge disruption for a team like us...tho 6 of the 8 teams that have gone over have made.finals the same year

It’s a pretty reasonable thesis . To be fair though the same disruption is happening by stooging us with a round 1 buy. It’s really hard to simulate round 1 conditions by intra squad scrimmages .

We can do no more than speculate as to exactly why, as the opposite clearly worked for Terrell last pre-season. It could simply be a change of mindset, external factors somewhat forcing it, or anything else.

Whatever it is, like you, I have faith that he knows his decision is working for his current self.

We should be immune from round 1 buys for the next 19 years, mathematically 38 really , once the comp hits 20 teams .Not having a go at you , just if PVL throws out that nonsense as some kind of boon , he’s a deadset clown .
It’s interesting the way he treats the west Sydney teams as opposed to the chosen Roosters , storm , broncos . Like the eels getting railroaded to give away Lomax for pennies on the dollar to the STORM! LOL and people want to argue there’s not an agenda coming out of Moore Park .
The whole mafia style of “owning the nrl a favour” is F-ing bullshit . Especially when it’s about the clubs hierarchy stopping its ownership group from torpedoing the club. In the premier league , that type of shit gets you dropped 2 divisions and immediately put up the for sale sign . Yet somehow this guy, wants to reframe as if he’s doing the club a favour ? It’s ARLC by name . Meaning it’s supposed to act in the best interest for the clubs it oversees . The guy runs it like the mafia . Anyways … haha 😛 rant over . It irks me when people do what’s universally considered the right thing and rephrase it as some kind of favour . No dickhead it’s the human social contract that we all subconsciously agreed to the moment we were born . You’re not some hero . No one owes you anything big boy … (PVL)
