2026 pre season

Because they are 2 of the hardest working players on our team and they are not the reason we struggle to score points.
Our attack, in particular our red zone attack is dreadful, that has very little to do with Seyfarth and Twal.
I disagree a little. Both don’t always run the correct line as a blocker which allows defenders to shift quicker. Seyfarth often gets dominated in the ruck so his play the ball speed is slower. But I will agree that both are week in week out all effort winners. Our coaches and playmakers need to be better at guiding both. We can agree everyone needs to be better in the red zone

Just going to add this here about streamed trials on Saturday for our NSW Cup & Flegg squads.

Probably somewhere working his way into a top grade side (Penrith last I heard)
- Like most young blokes with potential should be doing at his age,

Not being gifted a top 30 spot like when you're at the Tigers.
Good luck to him - St Marys Massey Cup last time I noticed him.

My comment wasn't meant to be a criticism of him, but was in relation to how a truckload of young guys get over-hyped on the forum.

Chris Faagatu is back playing Qld Cup with Ipswich Jets I think.
He had plenty of natural talent and aggression, but was unfit and lazy.
Unfortunately when players are unfit and lazy there is not much chance for them at NRL level with the pace of the game these days.
As the old saying goes, you can lead a horse to water, but you can’t make it drink.
Coaches often get the blame for these types of failures to develop and I too have mentioned sometimes coaches give up on players too quickly, but any healthy person can get themselves extremely fit if they have the drive and determination to do so. There is only so much pushing and prodding coaches will do before putting it in the too hard basket.

Seeing a bit of Kit in the social media videos and pics, however not much talk about him. I wonder if he can step up and maybe channel some spencer leniu. Has the body for it and seems to also lack self preservation in his runs, also has shown some toe off the mark.
