2026 Will We Win the comp

From What I’ve seen in pre season videos , trials and R2… I have us as in the top2.

Whilst we are hopecasting, ill throw one out there. Lets say we come 1st/2nd or 5th/6th. If we are serious about winning rugby league games then we would play that first home semi final game at Leichardt Oval.

Imagine the hype. The influence of the hill on the referees.

Sure, people are going to miss out, but if thats the cost of a true home ground advantage, then sorry - ppl can watch on tv.

If we played anywhere else it woud indicate to me that rugby league results are not the #1 priority - theres no other way to spin it.. on our day its worth a few extra points, and thats worth more than the $$ we'd make by playing at commbank... corporate sponsors would come, it would be the last game at leichardt in the old stand. The club could probably even charge double it would be in such demand.

Yeah mate we'll be in the grand final. Best be saving up money for a trip to Sydney in October. You should buy those tickets now in advance as it's a certainty.

I was listening to Hello Sport, and they were talking up Tigers as their new favourite 2nd team. I think that is the barometer for me. Hopefully it keeps going we are totally back to being a fresh, fun team that everyone loves. Everything flows off that back of that at this club. Manly love being hated, the Storm are cold and clinical, we are expressive, emotional attackers. When that all clicks, its nirvana for me. That's our true identity.

If we can have that and keep that flame alive, then the dark times are over and we'll be playing plenty of finals footy in the years to come, and who knows after that.

We haven't even been behind in a game yet. Wait till we see how we react to when we are in a bit of trouble and momentum swings against us. Wait till the refs get trigger happy.

At first glance, I thought you meant the bed side manner of the live game thread. That too will have one or two overreactions this year when we are under the pump.

Would love for it to be the case, but a long way to go yet.

My win for the year would be finishing higher up the ladder than the dogs. Even better would be if we made the finals and they missed out.

Agree, we have a long way to go yet.I feel with our top 30 atm, if we make this years top 8 we have over achieved. At least in my eyes we are heading in the right direction and the further away from that dreaded wooden spoon the better.
