ATM this is ADs team and he is best at 7 with Luai at 6
2028 AD is our 13 to ball play and ease pressure off rookie halves

The Bears will insist on 2 games against us so they can win at least one game away from home next year especially since Leichhardt is not an option.

I’ve been a huge supporter of Bula but fair dinkum, he is taking the absolute piss. Jogging around the field and giving the most token of efforts. Luai only has a go when he has a personal point to prove. The last time he did, he wanted to have a go at his own clubs fans. Doueihi, who is not a halfback is playing there as no one else can. He has put some great games in this year but isn’t the future. Api is having a go, but doesn’t have much left in him. He looks completely defeated.

Truth is, our 2027 spine is spoon quality in its current iteration unless some legends like Johns, Cronk, Slater etc can come in and help them over the off season.

Both Luai and AD are runners personally I like Latu and Andrews as a better combo.
The real question is the damage this stuff does with recruitment and retention. At a minimum they now know who leaked info from the dressing room.

Bit unfair to call Luai a runner. His pass timing, selection and short kicking game are elite. He runs when the pass isn’t on, which is smart.

Too often with our slow PTB in red zone we shift with no advantage and that leaves him to run into dead ends.
