28 seconds

Is how long it took for Townsend to make the challenge. Rules state a challenge must take place within 10 seconds.

Also, it took 6 seconds from the moment Doueihi struck the goal kick until the kick was over. The game should have been ruled over at that point.

1:27 is how much time was left on the clock when the try was awarded. Rules state 90 seconds must be run off the clock before the kick but it was stopped with 5 seconds. This is an even stronger case to suggest the match was over and that the result should be overturned.

Isn’t it 80 seconds?

Isn't there some rule that the kicker cannot run the clock down lower than 5 seconds, no matter what?

I am pretty sure the commentators said this before Doueihi took his kick, though I haven't seen the law in writing.
