I was thinking you’d be happy with your man Doob’s game. He went pretty good, that clean up run from under the posts was a good one. We’ve seen him cat that run a few times in the past. Extended to.

I actually have Skelton at the top of the list- late start, did little wrong, contributed nearly 200m & remained heavily involved. In a situation that could have messed up the team, he became a strength. Doueihi did a lot right, but it was that run out of the in goal that changed momentum when it was teetering.

One of the best performances I've ever seen in a WT Jersey. 2 tackles against big forwards around the ribs for knock-ons, getting the most out of our back row weapons in attack, 2 tries from brilliant grubber kicks, one in behind and one off the goal posts. Sensational nearly every time he touched the ball.

Watch the game again he was absolutely brilliant and if he keeps doing that he's worth every damn cent of his massive contract.

Luais deliberate kick into the posts was absolutely genius

Samuela was huge first half . He plays like that he will be in the origin conversation . Likewise Terrell and Twal. Terrell just couldn’t be tackled . Guys like JT who is a behemoth , couldn’t put him on the ground .

Terrell has so much mass in his bottom half that he is hard to tip over, even when someone manages to wrap around his legs.

Luais deliberate kick into the posts was absolutely genius

It was, but it reminded me that I don't think the padding should be square.

If I were playing (I was a fullback, so receiving kick offs was under the uprights) I'd be turning the padding (on the posts I were defending) 45 degrees. End of the half, turn them back for my attack to have them square and turn the end I was defending in the second half 45 again.

I really think they should be round.

Harder to get the rebound like Luai did yesterday, yes, but still possible and that kick he did was so spot on he would've gotten it back.

I guess I've got my fullback hat on and think the pads give too much of an unfair advantage to the attacking kicker.

Stoked it worked for the tigers, but it would piss me off if it was the other way.
