It was, but it reminded me that I don't think the padding should be square.
If I were playing (I was a fullback, so receiving kick offs was under the uprights) I'd be turning the padding (on the posts I were defending) 45 degrees. End of the half, turn them back for my attack to have them square and turn the end I was defending in the second half 45 again.
I really think they should be round.
Harder to get the rebound like Luai did yesterday, yes, but still possible and that kick he did was so spot on he would've gotten it back.
I guess I've got my fullback hat on and think the pads give too much of an unfair advantage to the attacking kicker.
Stoked it worked for the tigers, but it would piss me off if it was the other way.
