Only around a hundred people have voted in the poll on the front page.

Whilst voting will remain open all week, the results currently stand at:

Andrew Fifita 116
Benji Marshall 100
Chris Lawrence 77
Robert Lui 66
Blake Ayshford 50

the top drawing player gets 3 points, the second gets 2 and the third gets 1

C'mon everyone, get voting!

personally I don't understand how Marshall is polling more than Lawrence, Lui and Ayshford. Favoritism?

I must have been watching a different game to everyone else. In the game I watched Marshall blew most of our attacking opportunities with a shocking kicking game. How he gets in the top 3, I have no idea.

For me:

3\. Fifita
2\. Lawrence
1\. Woods (great debut)

mate, i agree.

it's getting closer though. Don't know why…

Andrew Fifita 119
Benji Marshall 112

Did the people voting for Marshall watch the game??

If this trend continues Marshall will win this with 72 points come season end

Maybe people feel sorry for him over off field stuff I think Benji would of been disappointed overall in his performance Some good stuff more bad stuff though

sets up two tries, and scores one, can't argue with that.

take that out of the equation, and it was a 24-0 win to the doggies.

as bad a game that was by marshall's standards he still got 1 point from me. It was too hard to go past his 2 try assists and solo try.

it only reports on the top 5 unless fifth spot is tied

what are you trying to get at?

I also wrote the system to include a unique 100-segment multi-character unique security key for EACH vote to ensure that there is complete transparency. In otherwords it is possible to fudge the result, but one would need to come up with a unique 100-character-long security code for every vote that you wanted fudged - hardly worth the time.
If you would like a dump of the SQL table i'd be happy to provide it as well.
satisfied?

*EDIT: oh and each vote is also cross referenced against another database of security keys. If the partial key isn't present in the other database, the system stops the vote from being counted.

Gee youre clever, Im not getting at anything just noticed the players I voted for not there…..paranoid eh?

Im in the same boat, watched the game twice, originally had Ellis as MOM, but under closer inspection thought lawrence was our best, Benji amongst some ordinary play, scored 1 try, set up 2 and actually defended pretty well….. As they say in the classics the scoring plays are the important ones and Benji had the major hand in all 3.

You have to feel for Andrew Fifita; somehow Benji has over taken him

Benji Marshall 138
Andrew Fifita 135
Chris Lawrence 99
Robert Lui 88
Blake Ayshford 66

I'll keep the poll open right up until the game on Saturday.
Only 127 people have voted out of the 1500 members that we have!

Didn't vote coz didn't see the whole game..from what I saw, I thought Utai was the best on ground

So I'm not gonna bother voting and screwing up the scores…
