3-2-1 3, 2, 1 vs Bulldogs [Round 13]

He seems a loose sort of guy.
His positives as a player outweigh the brain snaps usually.
Surely the coaching staff can sort the discipline issues out?
Yep im thinking its probably not fitness, more so how he responds to pressure and reads the game. Needs some work but theres a real asset there. He will pick up a decent contract elsewhere if we dont resign him

Bula, Turuva & Skelton all very close. Tavana & Api as well.

Shout out to Latu as well- rock solid defence at the end & Toa put his hand in the fire too.

That was one of the best effort games I've seen, and a great indication how far this club has come. We would have lost by 30, 2 years ago. Maybe even last year.

This team will play in the finals. And might do better than expected if they get there.

Seyfarth was the only Tiger who was legitimately really poor tonight
Agreed. Extremely poor. Can never discount his effort or a team player. Always gives 100%
Is good for 20min as a middle only. Reserve grader unfortunately. Cut him loose.

However.....I would have said the same thing about Twal 12 months ago...

A tough game to watch, the longer it went.
The ref gave what he could to the Dogs to get back into the game.
The last line defense is really wonderful - they keep turning up for each other - even Toa and Luai were unstoppable, while Twal and T May did their best in the middle. Also, Pole and the #11 Fainu held strong.
And Api. - just an inspiration.
And the back 3. Each had great contributions.
I like Madden's kicking for field position in the first 20 mins.
A really good team effort coming off the past 3 weeks.
And the Dogs.
Good as they think they are, they're nothing special ; one good thing let down by many that miss the mark.
And so happy Galvin is theirs and not ours.

HM Toa who cops plenty - from me - but made a try saver at a critical moment.
The last 10 mins the team really dug in for each other

Im just a big Seyfarth fan.
I can't understand how anyone is a Seyfarth fan... He is the biggest liability and has been for years. Its not like hes 2 or 3 years into his NRL career, hes been in the NRL system for 7 years.

He has terrible discipline. He is beyond shocking defensively, not only the fact he falls off tackles on smaller players, but has terrible lateral movement and defensive reads. He does not bend the line, has statistically been one of the worst forwards in the NRL when it comes to both Post contract metres and tackle breaks over the last 3 years and also has zero footy IQ giving away penalties or negative plays at the worst times.

The only people that rate him only rate him because 'he tries hard'. That's great, but he is one of the biggest liabilities in rugby league. Put me on the field and i'll try harder than anyone for badge, doesn't mean i have any right to be playing in an NRL game.... Just have a look at the tries we conceded tonight, he fell off Kiraz (outside back smaller than him) for his try and then fell off Tuala (outside back smaller than him) for his try... We are 7 years into fans still making excuses for a perennial liability. Its not coincidence the best success we had was the first 7 rounds this year when he was barely playing, then struggled once AGAIN when we had to rely on him to play meaningful minutes.

This is one of the most logical and well written takes I've seen on the forum in a while. Absolutely nailed it.
