3, 2, 1 vs North Queensland R19

Brooks doesn't gift the Cowboys two tries and we win the game too

I watched that pass again and it wasn't that bad. Kelma should have taken it. The missed tackle was really poor but let's be honest Doueihi misses tackles all the time and To'as effort on Holmes was terrible as well.

HM Kepaoa, really finding his feet in centres
Kepaoa was always a centre who filled in at wing. Such a natural mover. We need a top line centre on the other side though. To’a and AJ are similar but of the two Kepaoa looks to be the better of the two and more potential growth.

Hastings is a bit of hard one. Great work rate, possess handy skills for a halfback (short kicking game, ad-lib, etc.) but just has 0 ability to break a tackle. AD is slow but he breaks tackles constantly and is a threat. At lock, Matamua will take over eventually. I’m not entirely sure what to do with Hastings, he’s a fierce competitor and I would love to have him in my team.

I think the club/coaches have always had faith in AJ he just has been thwarted by injury. You have to give these guys time to build confidence in the NRL especially in teams that are struggling. He may not end up being a superstar but he certainly can be a solid FGer.

Don't know that I agree with you about Hastings.
While he isn't an explosive tackle buster, he is very crafty. He uses his feet at the line very well and generates offloads often, something we have been lacking for years.
I, like many others, was very doubtful about his shift to 13 but after this game I've changed my stance.
Matamua for sure looks like he could be the future but he wont be ready by the start of next year.
