Laurie’s gotta keep backing it up. Can’t just live off one game like that every 6 weeks, which so far is what he’s done.

1- Naden (only because he tried hard and did some good things after coming back, he did a couple of silly things too. Brooks and AD could have figured too but had some critical errors and our big men were solid).

IMO IF our forwards do the work they did today I think I can understand why we have AD, Brooks and hastings together. It is a triple tread and defences cannot just target 1 half as they know there are 2 more and we looked a lot better today in attack against a top 2 team.
Laurie was excellent today and hope the penny has dropped and this is him weekly now.

Certainly Laurie’s best game for us. Thought Brooks played well apart from 2 poor moments - one in D and one pushed pass that Tuilagi couldn’t handle and led to a try. AD also had a few blunders amongst some good play.
Our forwards played far better than recent games but our outside backs made way too many poor decisions at crucial times that cost us points and momentum in the game. Tuilagi put more effort into that game than he has in his last 6 games combined.
Peachy is a waste of space and Naden needs to be in the centres instead of either AJ or Toa.

Brooks did some good things but was directly responsible for 2 Cowboys tries which balances out his 2 try assists.

I think to be fair it was the last play and we got 6 again but am assuming neither him nor Brooks heard the 6 again call so that makes the pass to the winger and the kick were reasonable

Hastings controlling the middle with Brooks on the left and Doueihi on the right looks like a great combo. I have my doubts over how sustainable it is though with the workload Hastings is getting through.
