3 2 1 vs Titans

3 Luai
2 Seyfarth still in shock at how well he played
1 Lanyon really big debut for him, he will improve
Good assessment K.

Luai was good but imo really just did what he should have been doing for $1.2m. Hopefully when AD comes back it will be even better but Madden did a few smart things today( manly kicks) which showed his experience.
Seyfarth was good but think he’ll be another missing for a few weeks once they examine that last hip drop. I’m sure the GC coach was saying, why no checking, why no penalty.
Lanyon provided good service for his first game and certainly outplayed the 9 who seems to be going backwards for a highly regarded junior !

2. SEYFARTH
1. BULA
HM to Pole , Lanyon , Herbert , Taylan and Terrell
Luai was absolutely brilliant today. If only he could play somewhere near that every week.
I am very happy for Seyfarth. I’ve always been one of his biggest fans, but have recently started to believe all the negativity towards him. Today was a great reminder of the value he can provide us.
I’m one of Bula’s harshest critics and there was quite a few times today that I was getting frustrated at him not running the ball himself whenever we’re 3 on 3 attacking the Titans line.
But he done plenty of good things today and I think he deserves the 1 point.

3 - Terrell May, unbelievable work ethic, 48 tackles, 225m.
2 - Seyfarth, tackled anything that moved and great run for his try
1 - Luai - good to see him run. Lots of talk off the ball

Honorable mention: Jock, did his job, tackled better, kicked very well.

1 uppercut to anyone who said Luai should leave now, or words to that effect.
settle down

he stood up against a bottom 4 team

bit early to be carrying on with how close the comp is this year points differential will matter so the chances of making the 8 aren't very good at all

if we were playing anyone in the top 8 we would have lost today

Forgetting all his premierships are we?

But May just doesn’t punch any holes like Haas, solid yes. And it’s about time we changed our tactics in giving him the 5 th tackle carry for his little skip and run.
I like him but he’s pretty predictable. Disagree with the 3 points.

Rugby League is a funny game. One week (/most of season) Luai and Seyfarth are looking like they should be dropped then next week they are our 2 best 😆.

Hopefully they can do this on a consistent basis though 🙏.

I wouldn't have given him the points, though Terrell certainly did his job today after probably his worst performance for us last week, especially his efforts at marker on our line.
