Fact is, the ones picking Madden are the ones who hate Brooks at all costs.

Madden was fine tonight, but I promise you he is not the answer.

Brooks is not going to succeed here, there's no denying that. He needs 2 things that he won't get here, a forward pack and a proper 7 who actually pulls the strings.

Definitely Tamous best game in the jersey.
Seemed to really have a positive impact on Stefs game too.

I thought we had 14 good players. Laurie was one of the worst performances ive seen from an NRL fullback. Simpkin was not up to it again. Brooks was good most of the game but then didnt take control in the last 15 mins

1st off i don't hate brooks
2nd of Madden hasn't been given a fair go, maybe 1/2 season to show what he can do

It is very clear the Brooks haters are on a mission.

He was good again. This is what he does though. He plays well in patches throughout the season but also goes missing at key times. Madden was also good. Liddle was decent.

Laurie & Simpkin were really poor.

I don’t think anyone really believes he is. He’s a pawn being used against Brooks. Anything he does that is remotely good is going to get turned up to 11 in order for it to reflect poorly on Brooks.
