That is laughable.
If Madden did what Brooks did tonight people would be calling him the next Andrew Johns.
Brooks carried us.
He was far from perfect, and came up short many times, but he was the only player doing things at speed, worked hard all night ans did some really good things.
Madden was ok, and he is a first grader worth persisting with, but get the Brooks hate glasses off.

Too gutted to rate. The worst thing is they actually looked to be trying most of the night. I've seen worse teams, but I've never seen one with so little belief.
Every little thing plays on their mind. There is just no identity, aggression, passion.
Gildart and Offa are examples of guys who are clearly trying, and I hate saying it, they aren't good enough. They want to have an impact, and do one good thing and 3 bad. They could probably do a job at the storm, they aren't good enough to do it such an average and limp team.
Not really praising them, I'm using this as an example when these guys who have no history at the club, wouldn't get a start at many clubs and have modest ability are undroppable at WT because they at least seem awake.

We defended and played alot better as a team. Maybe the interchange stuffed us a little. Liked what Liddle brought and thought he was great for our attack and particularly Brooks and Madden - who both did some good things. Obviously lacking some class but T'oa didn't look out of place, for mine, so well done to him on his debut game for us.
