Who started the myth about Woods being a good defender? He is actually one of the worst IMO. Doesn't hit strong as we all know but almost ever makes back to back tackles, always slow out of marker, doesn't have it in him to make cover tackles anymore and wrestle is getting taken out of the game. Woods' strength has always been stepping at the line and offloading- he's still OK doing that but I don't see him add much to our team.

Fifita will be retiring soon for sure.

Taupau seems to have fallen down mentally, still an ox but doesn't have the same brunt anymore. And unlike the other experienced players, he doesn't have it in him to lead the troops around.

I actually rekon chuck Fifita a bone.

Look I think Woods feels connected to the Club as our fans feel disconnected to him. Yet he wont move fast or perform better. A simple gameplan for him will work and I think Anthony Griffin is the man who will bring that out of him, Not Craig FitzGibbon or anyone else.

Taupau, I honestly think has had his day. He hit peak at Manly. He is a wrecking ball but such a large unit. He wont have the speed for our current game.

Out of the three. Only Fifita had a pace that matches the current game. Boy he was such a Hot/Cold player.

Think Trent Merrin showed where the future is for these older slow moving forwards...there isnt one in todays game

I’m not saying we should target him but Woods is still a quality prop doing what he did for us all those years ago. I think he made 46 tackles and ran 148m in a badly beaten side on Saturday night. If one of our props did that the cascade of orgasms would be heard from Mars.

Agree. Woods is actually playing quality footy at the Sharks. He would be a walk up starter in our side if be came back & would improve the side. Issue is the way he left. If you run a business and in the market to improve the squad & he is an option they would have to look at him.

I could be good at what I do and if I publicly slag off my ex-employer while I was in their employ they would look stupid for having me back.

But we still bought Farah back.

Farah is the clubs best Hooker next to Benny Elias. Jason Taylor forced Farah out due to Jason having a personality conflict. So we hired Manly's 9 and it was the worst decision ever. We bring Farah back and we dont SUCK at 9.

Oh yea the whole Benji, Farah please loan us 100k, 200k to keep the doors open.

Club is just not thinking long term. A player like Farah should have been progressed from 9 to a lock/second hooker role like Cameron Mcinnes or Brandon Smith play at the storm. But hey we had to have dramaz
