3 ex Tigers Fifita, Woods and Taupau on the outer

I like many watch most games, and Woods is one of the best defenders going around,. Again i do not like signing older players, but at the right price and a short contract he would shore up our middle. Beyond that our backlines lack of speed and class should be our first fix.

I’m not saying we should target him but Woods is still a quality prop doing what he did for us all those years ago. I think he made 46 tackles and ran 148m in a badly beaten side on Saturday night. If one of our props did that the cascade of orgasms would be heard from Mars.

Agree - not sure what Tamou offers atm - but will reserve judgement for a few weeks - but at this moment would swap him for Woods in heartbeat.

I can tell you as a captain he won't be trying to flog a few of our better players off to other clubs.

He showed his true colours - unfortunately they weren't ours.

Woods influencing Teddy - yeh right. Teddy had no intention of signing with us or the Bulldogs or he would of - despite what we, or Woods may have wanted. Teddy is where Teddy chose to be let's be real.

I am real - it was reported when Sharon went to the Dogs he was trying to get Teddy and "The Tanker" to go there with him. Des wouldn't take "The Tanker" without Teddy....in the end he got neither of them. It didn't excuse Sharon trying to get them there or that Teddy may have never even thought about going there.

He should of stayed a Dog, because that was a dog act .

All 3 are passed there used by date

No more plodders

Totally agree,

Our fwd pack is building nicely.

We still got blore and tuki to find their way into the mix.

Marty shouldn't have been let go by JT, fafita was disinterested whilst with us and captain Woods choose to dump and run.

No thanks, none of these are welcome in our house anymore

Something funny that’s worth noting about Woods. Since he left, he’s playing under his 6th coach, and 7 in 2022 wherever he winds up. Funny given the reason he left was for stability.

They have all played finals football. I don’t think they would be regretting their decision to leave. Pretty much every player that has left the Tigers over the last 10 years has gone on to better success elsewhere, either participating in the finals or winning premierships. That’s gotta be a massive negative for why it’s harder for us to retain/recruit star players. The young players just starting out see the Tigers as a good stepping stone to start their NRL careers, be seen, and then possibly get interest from a successful club. That’s the reality ATM.

Of course the irony being, had those that left stayed with us, we would have played finals footy on a regular basis most likely.

Fifita leaving wasn’t a choice. Sheens saw Matt Groat as the better prospect. He was also cut to make room for Adam Blair.

Yes the Wests Tigers have to become a destination rather than a stepping stone. I agree with your post andyvee:+1:

Embarrassing but true. Fifita and Gibbs for Blair and Groat.

I liked Woods but lets be honest the 3 reasons he left were money money and money.Everything he said was a smokescreen imo

At least he played finals footy.....
What have he done since??

I hate how he left and how he did it sucked, but those players all did it which was telling as to how bad our club was run.

I would take Woods back.
He would instantly be a top 4 forward in our squad.
He is playing decent footy and always has a go.
We aren’t a club that can be picky and if a nrl quality forward wants to join us for the price we are willing to pay (we don’t pay over) - we shouldn’t say no to it.

This is why we are in the predicament we are now. Panic buying and paying overs. Finally it looks like those days are over.
