3 Hookers?!?!

Luani, Austin and Hal. Austin has proved himself and having Luani start over Austin is an insult.

Why…..

Nobody but Potter knows. He also knows why he hasn't the courage to select a centre to replace Lawrence.

I think the original plan was Halatau as a backrower. But that changed once Luani came up with 2 huge blunders in one minute that finally convinced Potter he isnt a firstgrader. So Austin came on and then when he needed a rest it was Halatau who came on instead of Luani. We wont see Luani again. Poor selection by Potter. We would have been so much stronger if he played Farlow and Halatau at hooker, Austin at centre and Akaoula on the bench.

There aren't 3 hookers.

Luani, yes. Halatau is a lock/second rower who can play hooker and Austen is a utility back.

Huh ??

Halatau is a hooker pushed into Backrow due to not being the 1st hooker
His preferred spot is No 9
He is versatile to fill other roles though

Just hope that's the last we see of Luani in FG. He's not up to it.

Who?

Select Nofoalama as centre and bring in Hitchcox to play wing. There is also a big handy winger, John Ogden, in the Under 20's. Bring in Richards to centre to replace Lulia and put Ogden on the wing. These are much better options than what Potter continually persists with.

Luani gets picked because defensively he is our best option

Our next best option is Cherrington but he isn't ready for NRL

Well after this week, hopefully we don't need to worry about a Hooker cover. Halatau is definately a hooker. But versatile to play second row and other spots. IMO he should be our smallest player on the bench moving forward.
