DCE is miles better - no point comparing.
I am one of Brooks harshest critics and even I’d say he was one of our better players tonight.
But, it’s a low bar…practically all players except a small few were utter crap.

Douehi tried his butt off ...but he wasn't great

The repeated cut out to Nofo was sad to watch. I love his work but understand why he lost the 5/8 position earlier this year. Something is off about his delivery on routine sweep plays. Love the guy and would keep him at 6 as he has shown with everything that he'll work hard and improve.

The cut out works if you commit defenders ....basically you want to try and get a defender to plant .....even early on drop it off your hip to Laurie and freeze the defence that way .....

Exactly, you have to create the space first, otherwise you're just setting the winger up to get dumped into touch.

Right now it's very slow and predicable and Nofo is a sitting duck with nowhere to go but run back inside.

Exactly ...you want to set a play up you basically do the opposite earlier
