anything, just do anything. the game needs to 're-invent' itself. It's growing stale and boring. 5 tackles kick. repeat. Need to encourage the smaller dynamic players to develop and the decrease of interchange will help,

A decrease in interchange is the dynamic that will change the game for the better. A decrease in interchange will see clubs recruit differently which will see a flow on effect through the lowest grades and juniors as to how players are developed. Smaller guys will come back into the game.
Entertainment wise there's no question it would create some more enterprising rugby league towards the back end if the halves.
Captain's challenge is pretty self explanatory.

I loved the old four quarter footy , but must admit that it probably kept games close that would have been a blow out when a team gets ascendancy in the 2nd half of a 2 x 40 minute half in a normal game

The more I think about it you should be allowed to have more players available for interchange but lessen the amount of interchanges

That way if you lose a unusual mixture of players you can make changes that will best suit your team

I think if they go to a four quarter game that will do me. Gradually ruining the game rule by rule.

Also a very valid point with me, as it is my lifelong support of the tigers that keeps me interested. I am watching less and less games and hate how some particular teams play, only seeing them if they are playing WT.

Unlike many here, I don't reminisce about 2005 much for being our premiership year, but more so the last year that footy was attractive and not allowed to be dominated by wrestling and similar bending of the rules

I couldn't agree more @formerguest re the wrestling.
It slows the game down and is just plain boring.

What does worry me though is the amount of gambling advertising shown.
Along with cigarette and alcohol advertising being banned, gambling should be next.

I like it...they could also stop the clock when ball is out of play go to the KFC replay....increase the refs to 10 and throw a flag on the field where the penalty is given to then go to Specsaver cam.. change it to you only have to get the ball over the Tryline for a TRY no need for grounding saves on Video ref..allow interchanges only for the defence and attack depending who had the ball ..

Games can then go for 4 hrs..

Following the example set by the current federal government and by donating a little to them, any further investigation will likely all go away with a phone call to Ita.

A 4 Corners expose would benefit the game much more than 4 quarters.
