4 to 7 players facing the axe

Whats really amazing to me is that people want to get rid of Lawrence, Ayshford and Marshall when their inability to be as effective as usual is due entirely to the club having the most unstable spine, especially halves, in the comp since 2012 and the most pathetic back row the NRL has ever seen.in 2013.

How you mob think any centres or five-eighth can play at even 50% of their natural and usual games in those cases shows many of you have never played in the centres or the halves at any level.

If you have no go forward, your halves get no space.

If your halves have no space, you backs get no ball, or they get the ball at the last minute with no opportunity to do anything as the defence is on top of them.

Lawrence has been covering for the back rowers and Moltzen in defence and relies on the halfback to give him good ball.

Ayshford has had to cover Benji in defence and relies on Balir and Fulton to make metres to give Benji the room to create opportunities for him.

Neither of these have been happening since 2012.

The players we need to get rid of are:
Moltzen
Utai
Tuqiri
Reddy
Blair
Anasta
Iosefa
Pettybourne
Thompson

Replace them with 3 top quality back rowers, 2 props, Pat Politoni and a halfback who can kick.

also, apart from blair signing- letting go of gibbs must be one of the worst decision by the club.

He was good last year but hasn't played this. He had a bunch of injuries in 2011, too, and I'm guessing that was part of the reason the club let him go - they didn't think he was a good bet to play for most of a new three-year deal. Looks like they're being proved right.

I've criticised recruitment enough times, but you can't just imagine the fully-fit version of a player and say how much you miss him. The reality is Gibbs is a big injury risk, and if we had him currently all we'd have is another body on the injury list.

Correct me if I am wrong but I believe Gibbs gave an interview at one point in which he stated it was disciplinary reasons that lead to him being moved on.

He did,it was an interview for RLW,said he still loved the club,but as he was on his last warning he took the 3 years at the Sharks as insurance for his family,rather than stay and risk getting sacked.

2 things. Anyone involved in these signings (with exception of Lwrence as he was killing it at the time) should be sacked. Incompotent fools.

Secondly, we need to (unofficially) startup a vodka cruiser culture with some of our players. That way we can buy them heaps of cruisers delivered to their doors, maybe even send round some girls, they can get drunk and act like tools and then WT will be able to sack them and they can all go off to other clubs they'd rather play for anyway!

Injury prone veteran, but a great defender. A fit and committed impact Fifita was a worse loss.
