Firstly do WE the foremost experts agree that our Wests Tigers need the bigest change?

I am leaning between another Prop or a killer centre.

(If olnly Dave Taylor was on the market)

In terms of centres I was reading today that Melbourne are looking to offload Will Chambers,
not that i would have him ahead of Lawrence or Ayshford.
But I think that he would be a great backup centre.

You guys don't need anymore backs, or halves, or forwards come to think of it.

just put the chequebook away til next year and get rid of some no namers then ship in someone brilliant

Will Chambers signed with Super 14 QLD Reds earlier this year

Apparently Gasnier is looking for a return to the NRL. Would make a mean centre pairing with Lawrence and and top of a magic backline.

Personally, I'd go for a genuine No.7 - and I'd go to any country or any game (even yawnion) to find him.

If the Tigers were to get Gasnier i think id be happy with footy for life…

But being realistic i think they should make a play for Greg Bird

This thread is ridiculous and flawed from the outset. If we dont sign Lote, there isnt an instant $450K to spend, there is about $220K. The third party $$$$ were for LOTE, not the Tigers.

Lote & Lima were one off opportunities.

Heres hoping one of both still happen.

I wasn't saying lote was worth 450\. I was saying he was 200 and Lima was 250 roughly.

Whilst that would be good,as Gaz is a right centre and Lawry a left centre, can't see it happening.

The reason Lima wasn't secured ages ago was because the Storm didn't accept the tigers bid of only paying 30% of his wage next season and the Storm paying 70% to me knowledge..

While i think we have money lying around, it certainly isn't 450k, I'd imagine it would be closer to the 200k mark… moving slightly either way.

I honestly heard (and if I remember, there was a source at the time) that Crabtree re-signed this year until something like 2014\. I know, sounds ludicrous but I'm almost sure of it.

You are correct! Insane 6 year contract!
