Can't agree with 2 or 3

One way fans killed the season, by being so abysmal negative after nearly every loss.

4 years of not making the finals is reason to be sh!tty, again we finish 9-10 and there will excuses aplenty from sheens and co

so when do you take over anderson…..

You got all the ingredients for 2010......

yep im sure any nuffy couldnt get a nrl team to the finals once in the last 4 years, keep accepting mediocrity if you like but i pay to watch this team, and if i dont like what i see ill voice my opinion, problem is no one at this club has the balls to make sheens accountable and the one bloke who did got the sack because he wanted accountability for the clubs failures, god forbid we actually have reprecussions for 4 years of failure

 So you pay to accept mediocrity…..

Success = finals yes we failed...... but don't 15 clubs each year fail.....

What would you have done different...

Yep,Sheens killed us yet again with same old issues..
1)Lack of leadership under pressure..Benji & Farah are "good time "leaders, but inept in a crisis. This leads to the "hot potatoe"stle of play which pleases Phil Gould & ch 0,but also any decent competitors who are prepared to be patient
2)Unrelaible goalkicking
3)Poor selection options at no 7 & No 1..Moltzen proved once & for all he's not a no 1
4)poor bench options,particualrly sizable forwards
5)Soft goal line defence
6)The most concerning of all,our players generally arent developing..in fact ,many are going backwards
Yep,injiuries & suspensions took their toll, like most teams, but we just didnt have a back-up plan
Another wasted season, just like the last 4..despite all the promise 7 talent
Only plusses are Benji made it thru intact,& Ellis who was simply outstanding.
Moltzens emergence too..he has promise, but not sure whether this coaching regime will extract its full potential.

Recruitment.

It really has been pathetic.

We now are getting into the habit it seems of recruiting players that have long left…..why?

We play away fromhome for the $$$$, but spend it on crap.

Ink..i agree with 100% - if we are getting the coin for playing at SFS or SA then why is this money not being spent on getting the right players to the club???
Eihter way, the club needs to sort out the home ground issue once and for all. I am sick of being the only club that plays only 3 times a year at our home ground.
We need one ground to play our home games on not 2 or 3\. Sorry but we are West Tigers not Balmain or Western Suburbs anymore. I will always respect the past but we are present and future and 3 home grounds is not the way forward.

Why can't you agree with 2 or 3 Senex?? Most people would agree that splitting up a winning halves combo to blood a rookie NYC half with suspect defence on the eve of a do or die clash against a rampaging Parramatta side - who just coincidently are our bogey side,is the height of sabotage. It is brainless utter garbage and that is what this bloke has served up to us for 7 years now.

He is not a supercoach, more a bloke who has been in charge at the right times. He is a fraud.

no mate only WT have failed to play finals in the last 4 years, we are the biggest failure, i dont give a crap about the 15 other clubs "failures", no coach has survived this long in the league with the crap record sheens has,

nathan brown 6 years in charge at the dragons, missed the finals once in that time, got the sack

steve folkes, 11 years as head coach of the dogs, 1 premiership, only missed the finals once in that time, he got the sack.

look at the dragons and dogs now 1 year later, top of the table, like i said before our club is run by a bunch of ball-less paper pushers who dont have the guts to make sheens accountable, 1 finals apperance in 7 years yet he is immune, and tools like you think its ok.

Oh Anderson…..insults are easy mate....

Show me anywhere I've posted that I think it's OK.....In fact I think I've said Sheens should never have been resigned in 2008...but guess what he was by a Club who's Board of Directors are an absolute joke...Anyhow that's a whole different arguement....

Gee Anderson....you dont care about other clubs but are quick to sprout their virtues when it comes to what they do....yet I don't see where any of them have had the great success yet....time will tell..

You always have choices Anderson....Man If it sucks soooooo bad and Sheens is so protected maybe you should Ask .....How come....Is that really Sheens Fault...If not..... why not harden up....I'm sure the other kids will still let you play with them.....

My biggest criticism of Sheens this season is regarding the team selections. For the first half of the season the interchange bench was unbalanced and offered no impact. Morris at 6 was another problem, which we all knew but nothing was done about it until we were running second last and needed to win every remaining game until the finals.

Otherwise I think Sheens has had the side ready to play each week which is more than I can say for last year where the Tigers didn't turn up on some occasions. I also think he's done a good job in clearing the deadwood, which had to happen.

Anyway, I'll be hopeful the Tigers can take the Dogs down next week and then get ready to have a strong off-season.

Agreed. If we had Moltzen at half from the beginning of the year, we might be sitting on top right now. Doesn't matter though, all we can do is look to next year.

Say we made the finals this year though, who **honestly** thinks we would win it with the injuries we have?

Yeah the guys in the stands watching the game killed our season.

Think about it, they only cheer when the team is doing well. What about a chant when they're not doing so well or are only going average to give the team on the field morale - it never happens.

Rubbish.

Often when theyre under the pump, usually when defending a slim lead, the crowd will get behind them.

Have you ever tried to initiate a chant when we're 18 behind?
I imagine you'd look a bit conspicuous and foolish .

Yeah, I'm obviously to blame for Tuiaki breaking his leg. 😕

You're a fruit loop.

 ….........and as the final insult - the fans turn on eachother!

Some good footy. Some great wins. Some terrible heart wrenching losses. Underachieved yet again. But, life goes on. I can't wait to do it all again next year.

Am I the only one that gets the feeling that some people around here really hoped we would miss the semi's so they could Sheens bash?
