$50 Million reason Wests Tigers are prepared to quit Campbelltown.

Richo basically saying Ctown is the future.
I think its the right strategy. The problem is how does Leichhardt council feel now if they've stumped up just the same amount of cash? Seems odd that the split isnt even. If c'town threw in more, sure. But they've kicked and screamed to pay this $50m

I’m happy with moving all our home games to those two venues, good move

Would have preferred an even split, however, I do enjoy heading out to Campbelltown for our games so I am not fussed

Good move towards finally having an identity

Playing out of parra and homebush does not feel like a home game most times
So does this mean we maintain a link with Parramatta or are we reverting to 1/2 games at CSS and the other 1/2 at LO.
Also, can we have a season where we don’t give up home games for money ?

Richo seemed to commit to one home game at Parra stadium Easter Monday every second year …😑…hate giving those bludgers a leg up

Every other game at LO/Cambo come 2029

2026 we still have a contract to play at Commbank. So it will follow the same structure as 2025.

Richo said in 2027, Leichardt will be getting sorted, so Campbelltown will take on more games. I suspect we may keep a few Venues NSW games (commbank, allianz or accor). He then said in 2028 when Campbelltown is getting fixed up, Leichardt will have more of the games.

From 2029 it sounds like it will basically be 11 games out of Campbelltown and Leichardt. With 1 game for Easter Monday (Richo singled out the Monday clash) alternating years. Hopefully we go to Accor instead of Commbank against Parra.

They are in the Sh!t big time getting the new leagues club off the ground they went overboard on the place big time
White elephant ! Assumed the punters would head down for pre drinks to northies or Carmen’s , get a feed etc . Like a lot of RSLs. Only there already is a Cronulla RSL doing that job.

Unfortunately it seems the fans don’t agree.
Meh … we will see what the configuration of the new stadium is like in 29 . Simply building more grandstands and enclosing it , should help with the acoustics and atmosphere there . Not to mention hopefully we have a good footy team by then , so they will have something really good to cheer for .

Based on?
You're kidding aren't you?

Based on crowds.

Campbelltown vs. Leichhardt

Campbelltown Stadium
Games 4
Total attendance 45,618
Avg. Crowd 11,404.5

Leichhardt Oval
Games 3
Total attendance 46,940
Avg. Crowd 15,646.7

Leichhardt is considerd sold out at 16,000...so 3 sell outs.

The fans vote with their feet.

Finally we head towards a home ground plan that makes sense provided upgrades come through. Long term investment and commitment which is very long overdue solves the annual what stadium will we play at next season debates.

Let’s hope they don’t back down and we get all our games played at CS/LO.

Another tick box in us moving forward as the Wests Tigers.

I'm worried that we will be forgoing hundreds of thousands of dollars for every game for the next 15 years.

We cant compete without money
