6pm presser

I thought Farah dodged the question. He was asked if he wanted Potter to coach him and he said "Mick has the support of the playing group." He didn't say "yes." It's an obvious dodge even if it seems like he means he does. I believe Tallis, he has no reason to lie. I still don't blame Farah though, I blame Tallis for sharing private information.

Plus Tallis was backed up by Farahs manager

Robbie was deadset filthy about the issue in the post match press conference. I tend to believe him that the playing group is behind Mick.

100% and what reason do we have to not believe him.
If it comes down to taking his side or that of Gordan Tallis I would back Farah every day of the week.

So, ONE question….is Robbie part of this playing group?

Yes or no will do.

If it were me and I was the captain there is no way I'd say he has the support of the player group - instead I'd say as captain I'm 100% behind him.

Both Potter and Farah were really good in the after match presser, its a pity the same professionalism is not shown at HQ by the people who run this club

I agree. After the last 24hrs, you'd have seen it surely if the animosity was there. But there was some sync to them. Shared frustration at the media, and how this (and Tedesco) has been handled by the club.
Hard enough with the injuries and the refs against you.

Lol yes, but he certainly is the first to refer to the "senior" playing group as a separate entity.

It's not that part you need to question though. It's the part where he says "he has the SUPPORT of the playing group."

He could mean that he has the emotional support, financial support, bra support, child support or hell maybe that they'd shout him a night out after he gets punted because he's a nice guy. He could have just said yes, but he didn't, he dodged the question. Totally dodged the question and it was an opportunity to put it to bed, but he didn't.

Yep, totally dodged the question. He could have said "yes I want him to coach us."

I don't know mate, I think you need to look at the answer in it's entirety.

He goes on to essentially reference the role the players had in Supercoach being arsed, and explained that they want no part in being seen as part of essentially a 'coup' again.

"The best way we can ensure Mick keeps his job is to get out there and win games" - To me that was very poignant.

Look at the whole answer, not just the immediate sentence after the question.

To me it's smelling more and more like whoever is driving the get rid of Potter faction has identified the reputation the players in our club have over past shenanigans (deserved) & are using Farah's comments last year to further this agenda.

Robbie was angry, angry in that presser. I don't believe he's lying.

Or maybe he included himself in the answer and your tin foil hats on way too tight

What point are you even trying to make now? I thought you were on the side of Farah is a jerk and needs to be sacked?

I've come to the conclusion that the forum needs a contribution from Smoking Gun to either confirm or hose down all the rumors.

We are the joke of the NRL because of the the people running the show. We have great coaches with huge potential. We have great players with huge potential. We have a board that are as dumb as a box of hammers.

This is the sole reason that I and a few friends did not join the membership this year, and it would appear from our overall membership numbers that we are not alone. I definitely support the team on the field and beside it, but I will not spend one single dollar on the club and have the board thinking they are doing the right thing. When they get their sh** together, I will gladly put in my hard earned and get a membership back and buy the merchandise as I always have…...but until then....

Anything Ive said on farah has always included an "if"

IF this or that is true….etc etc, never purported to know anything and kept an open mind on Robbie
